Here's a confession I love to spill. When we had lockdowns here in NZ, they chained the local sports fields shut. Twice I snuck out when it got dark with my battery powered angle grinder, and I cut the chain. I felt so pleased when I saw people parking in there and enjoying the park, and it felt like my little bit of rebellion.
Interesting that Roger Douglas and "Rogernomics" turned NZ into one of the freest and most prosperous countries in the world and became the object of scorn. Somehow the egalitarianism of universal poverty is preferably to unequal prosperity. Never mind Queen Jancinda will make you're all safely equal and poor again.
If every person would do just one small thing like you did, the restrictions would've ended a long time ago.

Once a person believes a statement to be true they no longer have the ability to see from a different perspective. It's what we call half-truths. A conscious choice means having the ability to look at reality from different perceptions. A good question to ask is what freedom does an individual have when he believes a partial lie to be true? Some people see life as a straight line in one direction, some see life as a circle. Very few can see the different paths and have the freedom to chose where they want to go. Peterson is agent Smith ! he can easily copy himself with a simple statement. They praise him and will defend him but will not see what is on the other side of the mirror! freedom is on the other side.

And the business owners of some of my favourite establishments who lost everything, I feel pretty bad for them, too. Their life's work, just gone. I can't even imagine.
I feel terrible for all the kids who lost two years of critical socialization and stable routine in their lives. I feel pretty awful for the ones who missed out on once-in-a-lifetime graduations, proms, sports, clubs, and activities that we all took for granted.
I could go on all day about the suffering I have witnessed.

Thank you, Jordan. I am so dismayed at the response to the convoy. I live in DT Ottawa and the reaction by leaders locally is such sniveling weakness. They are the ones whom are infuriating. No matter how crass some of the participants of the convoy have been, it is little compared to the enormous hypocrisy, ineptitude and gaslighting that we have seen from officials and media.
Thanks for this.. it would serve some people well to know that you live downtown, and if you could come out and confirm to people that what you're hearing and seeing is in fact peaceful.
We need more first hand commentators present in these online discussions, as the media is using many local people to reinforce the message that it is in fact violent and a threatening atmosphere-- which seems to be propaganda.

The Premiers you mention have jurisdiction over their own mandates, and as for Erin O'Toole, we just had a federal election last Fall.
And even if these protesters' demands were met, truckers would still have to be vaccinated to enter the U.S.

I have likewise been immensely proud of the Canadians who put their personal wants aside and chose to band together to help combat the pandemic for all of us by taking on difficult, challenging health measures to ensure their neighbor had a better chance of making it through this time well and whole. It's shocking to me the US media here has done everything to ignore the global protest for the exact same cause. They pretend it is some minority of anti vaxxers that are whining. I didn't even know Sweden had protests due to COVID. The only reason I know of Australia and Canada is independent UA-cam reports. Our media gave up their duty to report the news for a seat at the Democrats table full of all our tax money.

Thank you for your public response on the protest at our nations Capitol. I'm a mother of 2, and my husband and I felt strongly that it was now or never to be heard, so we made the journey. I walked through the protest with a sign of my own, whilst carrying my 7 month old daughter on my chest and my 3 year old son in tow. I have never felt more love, inspiration, and a sense of community. EVER. It is a lot to take in emotionally. Everyday Canadians helping one another and refusing to be divided anymore. Perfect strangers are instant friends and the fear to speak to eachother doesn't exist. Just respect and unity. People moved out of the way for me in busy spots out if respect for the kids, and cheered for my Mothers Against Mandates sign, as I did to theirs. People were keeping things clean ensuring trash made it into bags and bags were placed by the bins. Food and water being handed out. Everyone encouraging one another to not be provoked, to keep the peace and respond with love.. and thats exactly what everyone is doing. I met eyes with thousands of people from all walks and creeds and didnt need to say a word- we just connected and we understand eachother that this needs to end now for all of our sakes. I have hope for once. I am so grateful to the truckers for organizing and breaking trail for us all!!! And thank YOU for using your platform to support and encourage as well.

It s the soul, honesty and wisdom he relays that reaches us.
We have had many people as intellectual as Dr. Peterson that did very bad things. Dr. Peterson knows that God exists and is strongly emotional about the fact that he will be accountable to the creator and that motivates him to stop and pet a cat, and to make his bed, and to not lie, etc.
It's not so much his level of intelligence, but his conviction to use his intelligence in an honest and constructive way. Their are plenty of intelligent people, it's just that many of them use their intelligence to obfuscate and control.
