To estimate the cost of any building or a structure, drawings, specifications and rates are required. Regarding the detailed estimate by long wall and short wall method and centre line method, the drawings consisting of plan elevation and section are sufficient.

there will be 8 T-junction.please pay attention to these silly mistake many people see it first time and make mistakes...so while uploading the video check it one or twice

Total Earth filling must be multiplied with 1.30 to get actual value of Earth filling. We multiply it with 1.30 just because Earth filling reduces in volume (30 percent volume reduction) when compacted.

Sir if columns are included in junctions how can we estimate, at that time we simply deduct quantity of columns from total quantity of brick work is enough, i have doubt in this can u please explain.

sir while doing in individual wall method also we get only 37.5 m the entire length for excavation ,then how did you get 45 m? we tried in individual wall method ....pls clear it
In centre line method we calculate C. L of building and then after we deduct T - junction, so it will be around 37.5m

One more question.... In calculating the quantity of brickwork in superstructure the calculated height is 3 more but there should be deduction of thickness of floor from 3m height.... M I right?
No i took floor to ceiling height 3m. Its depends on your building dimensions

Thicknesse of wall is 0.3m given, bit when you start calculation for center line starting and end wall must divide by 2 so 0.3/2=0.15

In the plan there are 2( w3) windows and you have written only 1 and the deduction is wrong and same as well as door also there are 2 D1 doors once check it

first of all there are total 10 junctions,
and you have forgot to take the vertical wall of 1.1 meter of w/c, so total length of center line will be changed.
