This has been going on for decades and is almost not even news worthy. it would be news worthy if the governor called out the national guard to police the streets, until the violence is dealt with, however long that would take. But in reality that is only half the problem the justice system and how they deal with crime of both adult and minors should really be looked into. My folks told me if you play grown up games expect to pay the cost. This is the mentality the justice system needs to half instead of the catch and release mentality they seem to have at present. Changes like that would be news worthy and maybe end up saving the next persons life.
