I think someone grabbed her as she was getting into her car, her purse got ripped and she hit the car alarm either by accident or on purpose to try and get help,, she was quickly over taken and the alarm shut off. Then i think she was taken somewhere else, k*lled, then put in the water. I think the scene at the church with the footprints was staged while she was still in the church. Ive heard of this case before and ive never believed she took her own life. Thank you for bringing attention to this case.

She’s 4’10”, wearing high heels, 250 pounds….how is she physically walking down that long sidewalk in front of the church, getting across all that road traffic, in FREEZING January, and trudging I believe they said the length of two football fields to get into the actual water that time of year? It is folly to suggest that in a drowning case the lungs are found to be " full of water" or completely water logged. Are you familiar with a
dry drowning ? Further, in retrieving a body from water it does not mean the individual simply drowned. At autopsy/pm the findings may indicate/ reveal any number of contributing factors that resulted in death. In practice the findings can range from the obvious to downright bizarre ! ( I have signed off many ) This case is perplexing to the nth degree, it does carry the nuance of greater complexity from the off !
      I lean toward foul play.

@@lynnhexler-haan3357 it is NOT a folly to assume it wasn't drowning. I just argued with someone else about dry drowning. Dry drowning where water does not enter the lungs but there is assault on the airway.
Water in the oropharynx causes spasm enough to cause lung injury by aspiration.
This can set in within minutes.
( The lungs do not have to be full of water ) There has often been a clash of opinions by the medical fraternity, some of whom deny it exists. It cannot be dismissed ( in my opinion & findings) it takes very little water to drown, not lung fulls as people imagine. Water entering the oropharynx can give rise to spasm & close. A person could already be compromised.

I think it could be that it's because you have no reason to be partial in the woman's case. I only would ask you to ask yourself if you are REALLY applying the same impartiality to all the Trump cases. It's crucially important to take a good, dispassionate look at the evidence for/against Trump because your opinion in that case MATTERS. The lady who died here most certainly matters, but your opinion of her case doesn't make any practical difference unless you are involved in some way with determining its outcome, and I assume you are not. However, in the Trump case, your opinion matters because your vote matters. He still stands to cause enormous harm to the the world if he wins. Because he is DANGEROUS. Democracy, the Republic, and innocent people everywhere are in danger if he wins. If you don't see that, then you simply have not seen all the relevant facts of the case. Because if you will look at the evidence with an unbiased mind, you can't unsee it. So I can only assume you just haven't seen the facts. Please, before making a decision that you are being told could actually end democracy, consider the arguments carefully. Respect to 1st LT. Twana Powell, she told the truth that they wanted her to clear allegations, and she wasn't willing to do it. And how do you drown with no water in your lungs? According to the Mayo clinic website... There are no medically accepted conditions known as "near-drowning," "dry drowning" and "secondary drowning." Rather, the terms refer to delayed illness that is caused by aspiration of water into the lungs, which may cause the vocal cords to spasm and the airway to close up. This acute lung injury can develop over minutes to hours after exposure, though, despite news reports, it is quite rare.
But this is not talked about in the report... But curious if corner ever found that her vocal cords were closed off... Anyway, big footprints in the snow, don't equate to tiny feet in stiletto heels. 🤔

I beg to differ, the terminology is referred to as such in many medical texts. The term may be used if the findings apply, & then listed accordingly, seldom would a cause of death be read as " drowning".

Funny how police never explain why witness is not credible... they just say he is not credible. She had no water in her lungs yet we are supposed to believe she walked in heels to deep enough water to drown, and not only that but end up clear on the other side of that shore in Canada... that is insulting they expect anyone to believe that. I think these police and this Tim were involved in organized crime she found out he did threaten her on that phone call and he had police department help him murder her and cover it up. That would also explain why their stories and times do not match up. Also how did they know who she was and she was " missing" the tag and car was in daughters name. Also how did officer see footprints leading to lake when there was no snow in that lot. This is clearly a homicide case and FBI needs to look at tim the cousin and police department. My mom's friend was about the same size as JoAnn. At the same age as JoAnn, the friend wouldn't have been able to navigate that distance, in snow, in heels, over obstacles, to reach the river. What was shown, with the rebar and concrete barrier, would be challenging, especially with snow, for a fit woman of JM's age.
JM would have been a heavy weight to move. I would deduce that JM was abducted from the parking lot, and somebody else (if the prints ever existed) put the prints into the river. It's altogether possible the running man was simply a jogger in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's also very possible he was a distraction set to cover activity around the church parking lot.
It's difficult to tell from public reports if there are/were forensic opportunities. I would think the best bet for the family would be with the Canadian autopsy and possible samples taken there, as local officials wouldn't be involved.

Not in all drowning cases. There is a condition called 'dry drowning '. Although dry drowning isn't necessarily considered drowning, it still is. It's where water enters the larynx, but does not enter the lungs. So it is possible to drown, and for water to not be in the lungs.

That's not quite what dry drowning is. It's when water does get into the lungs but not enough to cause the person to drown then and there. They get out of the water either on their own or with help. A process of irritation of the lungs gets started by the water that got in during the incident and eventually that's the cause of death. Drowning on dry land, so it can't have happened in this case. Not as the facts are presented here. ❤

Oh, I almost forgot one more comment. Joanne's body was transported by boat close enough to the Canadian area and then dumped. This person also knows how the tides move in that direction because they've gone that way by boat before. This person is an avid fisherman and he loves to go out on the water. They followed her and they planned this. M

I work in the world of suicide so to speak in inpatient psychiatric. And everybody who comes in who is suicidal, says what their plan is. Nobody has ever said they’re going to go out in the middle of the freezing, cold and drown themselves in a cold lake. Maybe jumping off a bridge because they know that they’re gonna die upon impact. But nobody is going to just get into a very cold body of water and just freeze to death. That in itself is just so suspicious along with everything else. At some point they just can’t be that many coincidences, or things that have to be explained in a very weird way. Plus in the snow, you can just go back over your footprints and cover them up as you walk away. Or she was just taken somewhere else, and then the perpetrator walked down there, so that there would be one set of footprints going that way. It’s just weird that the police seen one piece of evidence and just go with it and don’t ever talk about all of the possibilities. Very suspicious.

As it is trying to get solution is like five people going head first into a fully armed army. Sad reality.
