sim reader is soldered onto the motherboard. It would require someone who knows soldering to be able to de solder it and replace it with a new one. You would need to find a repair shop that has the tools and skills for the job.

Hi, I don't have the phone in my possession at the moment. If it is replaceable by end user, they really did a good job not showing any seems or separation around the edges and any raised spots that would show there is a plastic protector over the screen. Usually when you look around the earpiece or corners of the screen you can notice an additional layer just like how a plastic protector would show itself. Motorola did a good job on the z2 force making it barely visible but still is visible if you look at the right places, but I did not see any signs of it on the s8 active.
Might be a defective battery, or liquid damage. These devices are water resistant but not water proof, if exposed to water for long periods of time, they can become damaged so if you have exposed it to water for a long period of time it might be that as well
For water damage they use special chemicals, I don't know exactly what but only experienced people can handle it I think the chemicals are dangerous if not used properly.
Is anyone absolutely certain that the S8 and S8 active use the same Rear Camera? My Active's rear camera broke and I cant find the Active replacement camera.
The adhesive used on the battery door/rear cover is very strong, if you don't damage it, it will seal back and adhere to the housing strong giving it the seal it needs. But if you damage it, you would need to replace it with a new seal to ensure its waterproof capability.

@@testphone7279 Hi you can go to this link on amazon amzn.to/35tPozf there you will see some adhesives sold for the s8 active. Also no you don't need to re apply heat if using a new adhesive.
Usually they are available on ebay or amazon, but at the moment no one has it for sale. You can try contacting samsung and see how much they will charge to replace it for you
Many things can cause it not to work. 1. dust debris stuck in the filter clogging it up. 2. internal damage like liquid damage etc. 3. short in the headphone jack making the phone think there is headphones plugged in thus directing sound to the headphone jack. Could also be something else but these are the most common issues. Hope this helps
Hi, it could be many things. Has it been in water? It could be water damage, a defective battery etc. Have you tried booting it in bootloader mode to see if its possibly corrupt software? Keep in mind if you were to do a factory reset through recovery mode you would lose all your data.
That's true unless you replace the adhesive with a new adhesive strip then you will be water resistant again. It's always suggested to replace the old adhesive with a new one when taking apart to ensure a good seal.

If that was the case, samsung would not offer to replace LCD assemblies and have authorized repair centers do repairs on these phones if they could not ensure a water resistant seal again after taking the phones apart..

I'm not a fan of modern phones that require a heat to disassemble, but you make it look really simple on this device.

My phone was the same from you, my phone was starting shut down when I charge it and I didn't open again what's the problem from my phone thanks

Can I remove the INTERNAL memory and still access it? My phone will not charge and I have been trying to recover what was on it.
Unless you have an SD card and your stuff saved onto that, you would not be able to do it. The onboard storage is soldered onto the motherboard.

How do you open the phone when it has an encryption password when therebwas no pin in box
your going to have to research on google for samsung fpr lock bypass to find a method for doing that if you mean your phone is google FPR locked

no the battery connector is located in a different spot on the S8 compared to the s8 active so the cable will not fit
but there is posible can upgrade the battery of s8 or s9 regular to 4000mah battery?
don't think so because the size would not fit in the phone frame made for it.
