ABOUT JOE
I first made my channel a few years ago and had no idea where it was going to take me, all i knew is is that i wanted to help others on their golfing journey. I always found it hard when browsing the internet to find clear coaching information and the more i read the more conflicting advice i found. So this really gave me the drive to create my channel and make this content.
In my day job i am a full time golf coach working out of a driving range in the North West of Yorkshire as well as Colne Golf Club. I find coaching an incredibly rewarding job and i coach everyone from professionals to a complete beginner. I am always trying to further myself as a coaching professional through training and investing in the latest technology. I am also a fully qualified PGA Professional with Accredited PGA status.
I am here to help you improve your golf, whether it be via golf lessons or watching my online content. Please feel free to ask any questions on my videos to help you reach your goal of improving your game!

Thanks for the video, just bought one of these bags so validated my set up nicely. I use the big front pocket above the golf balls with an ice pack for drinks, and, if not carrying a brolly, use the slot there for a drinks holder if it's not on my trolley!!

Another very helpful video .Some modern putters have very large grips. Good idea large to use large hole at the top.

I was using trolley all the way since mid 70.s. In early 90.s I started to carry using a short set. Unfortunately my back can not hold carrying that good as I have three vertebras with some issues so it is mostly back to trolley or cart for me. Carry with a 7 club set walking alone an afternoon on a pretty empty course, preferably a small less known 9-hole course with height variation tee to green is the ultimate golf for me but as said my back will be sour afterwards. Keep swinging

Carrying a short set is an incredibly good discipline; ask almost all of the greats of yesteryear how they learned to 'work the ball' and they would have told you they started out having to because they only had half-a-dozen clubs to choose from (Seve and Lee Trevino come to mind).

If you use Motocaddy it has click lock and the back stays put :) alsi the bottom front pocket is normally for drinks :)

My biggest issue with bagging this way is when my bag is just standing by itself (not on a cart or push cart) it tends to be way too heavy on the strap side and my bag falls over all the time.

Hi Shayne, Yeah unfortunately this is something we see often with bags falling over, unfortunately many cart bags just arn't designed to support themselves when standing. Its amazing how over the years golf bags have got lighter but bigger leading to this problem, have you found any way to solve it?

Good video. Well I’m doing something right because that’s pretty much how I have mine set up but I have the drink cooler pocket at the front. Which is great. And I do keep my brolly in one of the divider slots as I don’t have that many wedges.
Thank you for your club arrangement. My biggest annoying issue is the golf towel when attached to a bag that is on a trolley as the towel is too long and it scrapes onto the wheel. Any helpful suggestions?
Take it off and wrap it around the woods at the top, it’ll also help protect the shaft 😊
Your club towel should be no bigger than 18 inches square. If you need to carry a bath towel (I don't!), keep it in the bag. I have two towels and I rotate them depending on the weather. Also always scrub the head with a brush to remove lumps of earth before towelling.
Oh man, I gotta get me those Panda covers! Hopefully they come as a set...Mama bear, Papa bear and Baby bear...or do I have my nursery rhyme more out of order than my golf bag was?

Yeah absolutely, the putter well is normally pretty large so you can just slot it in there 😃⛳️

What trolley are you using?

Like mine the towel hangs down on the cart wheels. On very wet muddy day it’s not great. Could you show us a towel that fits a cart bag. Sorry, it just frustrate me. Cheers
As mentioned in an earlier comment by Joe, a towel that wraps around your woods (particularly your less used one) would work best. I have found that the the Club Glove towel or similar ones that have a slit cut in the middle hangs nicely on one of your woods and keeps out of the way of my trolley wheels. I hang mine from the strap that goes around the top of the cart bag
I loop mine up through one of the handles. It takes up excess but puts the bottom still available.
Hi Grant, I hope you have found a solution? if you haven't I would recommend a longer towel (stick with me on this one) as it will wrap more thoroughly around the clubs and grip better! Would keep them up at the top 😊 woods stay on the same row and then irons etc 🙌

I’m always carrying my bag but maybe if I was using a trolley full time I would reconsider my head-cover choices. I think I’d really struggle though to get rid of panda though! 🐼🤣
What about when you start carrying the bag and the clubs all flip?
What do you mean?
@@JoeLoveryGolf there will be times when you have to carry the bag by the strap, right? Whether it be out to the car or to the clubhouse on arrival…. If the clubs are oriented with longer clubs at the top when on the push-cart, when you have to carry the bag the longer clubs will be on the bottom. Thus getting potentially getting dinged up and defeating the purpose.
@@kylewilson9457 I think for the amount that you carry it/ the distance it’s a better orientation than having it the other way around. For the 50 yards or so you can carry it on your back and have the clubs facing upwards (single strap over the shoulder). Equally if you were going to carry for the round then I have a full video on that ⛳️

The layout of that 14 way divider is nasty.
Would look better if you set it up like this;
Putter
D, 3w, Hybrid
4,5,6,7
8,9
Pw,50,54,58
So all the wedges hang along the bottom of the bag in degree order.
Nasty is extreme considering it’s only a couple clubs different 😂 but that’s how I have mine in the 14 way, also been easy to maintain also
@@JoeLoveryGolf I meant the way Titleist designed the layout. How you put the clubs makes sense but the way the club head hang makes it look like 8,54,58,50 which would do my head in. Plus I bet the PW knocks against the 58 when your moving about
The trolley is too slanted. Try Big Max or Clicgear 4.0.

@@JoeLoveryGolf He meant to say power cart. Your bag would be standing straight up. You would have to re-arrange and put the irons at the front. Not a big deal because it just takes a few seconds to switch them
