There are multiple types of golf bags out there, how do you choose which one to buy? There are Sunday bags, carry bags, stand bags, hybrid bags, and more! In this video we go over each type of golf bag, which features they tend to have, and how you can find the right golf bag for your golf game.

Nice review. As a former caddie, I’d like to say that the hybrids (though awesome with the 14 way dividers) are not necessarily best for most golfers. Carry bags with 4 or 5 dividers like the Ping Hoofer are more versatile than they used to be. They’re lighter, durable, have cart straps, have tons of storage, are cheaper, and are easier to travel with and store. Unless the 14 way divider is a must have, most modern golfers should rock carry bags.

Just bought an OGIO hybrid bag, and it’s been great! Super high quality, 14-way full-length divider, place for the cart strap, cooler pocket, etc. It really seems like the best “all-around” bag out there, at least for me. Great overview!

I had just got stealth irons and the Stealth 2 driver and before I got them I got the stealth vesicl bag
Just picked up a Titleist 14 Hybrid bag, absolutely love it!! The black with gray lining looks real slick. I’ll be using this one for a while!

I have a Bennington quiet organizer 14 which I have over 10 years where the irons slotted that holds them in without rattling against each other

Sun mountain all day and everyday. Plus besides the outstanding high quality, it’s a neutral bag, you can put any brand of clubs in the bag. My C130 still looks great for a 7 year old bag.

i like to use an ultra light bag with 3 or 4 dividers and club tubes to stop snagging
Club tubes would be great for the 3 or 4 divider bags.
Nice review but What about a category of golf bags for push carts? There are specific differences between a stand bag (no need for stands w/push cart) and a “push cart” bag. I guess you could lump in push cart bags with stand bags or even cart bags but there are specific needs for all three. Nice job. Keep up the great work

MacGregor was big years back. I'd say if you overall like the look and it's features go for it. The brands we mention in the video are ones we felt we could stand by with confidence. Hope this helps!

I am very loyal to the ping hoofer bag since I been playing golf on and off for bout 34 years now and I have a custom ping hoofer lite golf bag with my name on it

I live in Japan and just started playing golf recently, just something I thought funny, 95% of people here use the staff bag !
Actually in the stores close to me I never saw those cart bags with all those dividers

It's all about glam in Asia. Staff bags are leather and look expensive. That's why XXIO are super popular in Japan, their club weights look like precious gems, but they are very uncommon in the west.
Staff bags are also common in Indonesia since every golf course have staffs that carry the bags for u anywhere
What bag fits best on a push cart? I always either ride or use a push cart. What would be best for that combo? I can’t remember the last time a actually carried my clubs.
Most bags fit a push cart, just depends on what you want to lug around on the trolley. I think the best would be a 14 way Hybrid Bag.
I want a tour bag. I’ve had a stand bag, carry bag, cart bag, now I’m approaching 30 and always wanted a staff bag but couldn’t afford them until now.

What are your favorite courses in Utah for someone that is golfing on a budget?
On a budget, we would have to say Hobble Creek, Cedar Hills, Sky Mountain, South Mountain, Gladstan, and The Ranches (our home course). There are a lot of good courses in Utah that are very budget friendly. Most of the expensive ones are in Southern Utah and Park City.
have you guys ever used/seen a Jones bag? just ordered a Trouper R, hope it works out !

I’ve owned Sun Mountain and Nike bags and they all seem to wear out within 3 years. I’ve had my Stitch SL2 for 2 and it still looks brand new.

I run the golf cart strap through the top handle keeps the bag tight and Down in cart
Yep, that definitely works for most bags. Some bags work better than others in certain situations. That's why it's best to figure out your golf bag needs before buying so you get an optimal bag for you!

Im look for something similar to the Titiliest hrybid 14 but that bag is out of my price range, any suggestions?
Ogio may have some options that may be slightly cheaper. A lot of good used bags you can find on eBay or other marketplaces as well.
I need a hybrid, i have fairly big hands so have oversize grips, I’ve found that my clubs get stuck all the time in my 4 way divider bag
Ping has a good 14 way cart bag that is pretty roomy, but oversized grips can get tight in any bag.

Yes, Callaway owns it, but it is its own brand. There are Callaway branded bags out there that are not made by Ogio and vice versa.

So, no actual golf bags... pointless..
This is a guide to help you choose a bag, not a bag review. There are several different types of bags and brands out there.
Oh guys I hate to contradict but you missed a couple things. First Sun Mountain is the pinnacle. If they would pad the floor ( ie; the bottom inside) of the bag like Titleist (such a fantastic concept) they would be hands down the champ. They also manufacture push carts and umbrellas. You also forgot to mention on Sun Mountain cart bags they have 2 Velcro straps up top in the back whereas you don’t even need the strap that is on the cart that goes around the bag (genius) concept. Sun Mountain is the most innovative and well thought out bag company PERIOD.
