Love Smith park. Isn't there a very nice museum nearby? My memory fails me, maybe it's too far south of Bend to be included. Worth visiting regardless.
We're not familiar with the museum. But we absolutely loved hiking around the scenery at Smith Rock State Park. It's like 30 minutes northeast of Bend, so we definitely wanted to at least include it somehow.
Thank so much! A month to explore the area is awesome. You can really take your time and really see the true beauty of Bend and the surrounding area. Enjoy!
@@Michael-bi2wv cheesy? How is un crowded proximity to world class outdoor activities cheesy? All the things Californians moved here for already existed. They added nothing.
As a Bend local, y’all did a great job highlighting things to do in the area.
@@DrewKSM thanks! We always have a little imposter syndrome making videos about places we’ve only visited a few times. So thanks for the compliment! 😁
I'm going to try several of your suggestions in three weeks. Can't wait.
Thanks! Hope it’s a fun time.

Yes there is the High Desert Museum right outside of Bend maybe 5 miles south on Hyw 97.
This is great! An Aussie currently spending a month in Bend so thank you!

Super nice video! But it's Paul-eye-nuh, not Paul-ee-nuh... :)
@@bencreighton8544 ohh thanks for the correction. Pronunciation is one of the harder things we have to contend with haha.
@@tworoamingsouls All good my friend! Just me being OCD. ;) Thanks again for really nice video work. :)
Californians destroyed Bend.
Disagree! Bend was a cheesy town like Lapine before California folks got there.
Nah I had to move cuz of the housing prices they made, my family lived there for 3 generations.
looked awesome first time I came from calgary
Californians have destroyed everywhere
