That's how Slash Draw gets you, someone just want to rearrange their graveyard, then WHOOPS there goes the field and your life points. Basically the Yugioh equivalent of a Nat 20.
That was literally me on YGOPro(except I was specifically using Slash Draw as a worse Grass), except, and a few tag partner friends could testify, I would accidentally nuke my opponents with Slash Draw at an alarming frequency. To the point where every time I dropped it I'd joke "watch me accidentally end the game right here" and they'd immediately follow up with "stop". Which is fascinating, considering my normal luck is really really bad, where I'd get hands that have a less than 0.01% chance of happening on a semi-regular basis(think three doubles, two triples, or a whole hand of one-offs when I only run five-six). Both examples of luck have happened in a 60 card deck, which makes it even more amazing.
Please send the replay to LukeVonKarma for his "sub replay friday" series. He's gonna LOVE it and it'd be an unexpected, fun crossover you don't even need to prepare anything for.
I love how after Josh says "Fine", suddenly opponent uses their Slash Draw. Then, before even he finishes his sentence about losing from Slash Draw, Slash Draw already kill him.
If the card was at 2 in the TCG and this happened exactly 1 time in the history of ever in the finals of an event people would be asking for the card and that player to be banned
I love how the Striker player literally went to 43 cards in deck just to sneak those Slash Draws in. Slash Draw is unironically one of my favorite cards in YGO. It's been powercrept now, but when it released it was like a mini Pot of Avarice that had a chance to win you the game on the spot. Of course, it's a -1 unlike Avarice, but it cycles cards in your hand, lets you get things you want in the grave in the grave, and lets you put things you want in your deck back in your deck. Truly awful that the TCG banned it for most of the time that it would've been decent. Unfortunately, it only works going 2nd and there are much better cards to play going 2nd nowadays, but it still has a soft spot in my heart.
@@ErinMT2 a very funny one too, since it involved stacking your deck from the bottom with Saryuja multiple times, that way when you activated Slash Draw, you knew you were doing to draw it
Yes its called thinking striker is just gonna pass on 1 summon and then not dropping the maxx c cuz they already summoned 2x and you would be admiting that you missed on 2 draws.
Would someone mind helping me understand why he would ss back carrot instead of elf then ss carrot back with that elf? I dont mind to come across as like a dick I just know he's a better duelist than I and I feel like I'm missing something here right?
discard one card and send cards same as your opponent control to the graveyard from your deck. draw 1 card and if that slash draw, destroy all card on the field and give your opponent damage x2000 per card destroyed
basically on this case, discard 1 card from hand send 6 Cards from deck to GY then draw 1, if its slash draw, destroy all cards on the field and inflict 2000 per card destroyed. basically if you have 4+ cards that can be destroyed, you're dead if they draw slash draw
Sometimes you're just lucky. Think of it this way. If you actuvate slash draw with 2 others in deck, and have 35 cards in deck (The amount you have turn 1 going first), that's almost a 6% chance to get the second slash draw. If you deck thin a bunch, like a long game vs runick might, that number goes up even more. For example, if the opponent had 10 cards left in deck with both slash draws still in deck, that's a 20% chance to win.
"Oh, if I lose to slash draw..."
That's his last words.
At least he didn't get to say what he was going to bet 😂
While josh was playing with furries, he was mastering the blade
Sometimes your opponent is just an anime protagonist.
But what do you call it if you have terrible normal luck, but incredible Slash Draw luck?
21:53 Famous last words
That Slash draw was literally a DESTINY DRAW against Josh in his own anime. LOL xD
I like the part when Raye said it's Slash Drawin' time and slashed all over the place

Now that Josh managed to make Circular be limited to 1 with his psychic powers, it's now Slash Draw's turn.
Please send the replay to LukeVonKarma for his "sub replay friday" series. He's gonna LOVE it and it'd be an unexpected, fun crossover you don't even need to prepare anything for.
I would love this "collab"
You miss 100% of shots you don't take, and sometimes you just might hit the Hail Mary.
“Sometimes you just get blown out”

22 min duel to lose in 1 second to Slash Draw, ouch
22 mins to lose to an impossible OTK and get no rewards out of it
except josh got toutube content xD. Technically a reward, which is worth it.
He had to post the whole game for us to see that there was no stacking by the opp, it was pure luck and protagonism.
He did indeed, jinx it again
Someone out there is going to think this video is proof sky striker is still playable.
Nah, none of the people who posted their Master Rank videos of the deck play Slash Draw. Most of them are on Bystial packages though.
Engage is at 3 now so perhaps kekw
It's the utter silence afterward that kills me lmaaaoooo
poetic, the person who got slash draw limited in the TCG lost to it in master duel. Fun reply
Imagine the reaction of the guy who freaking won. We need HIS replay too. It's probably more unbelievable to him than it is to Joshua.
18:30 Surely if sky striker gets to turn 4 they're winning, right?
21:55 get rekt hahahahaha
this was so legendary xD
Honestly deserved considering Joshua topped a ycs with slash draw ftk
Slash Draw is a double edged sword 😂
Did he?
@@bloodysorcerer Yeah, look up “Joshua Schmidt YCS Milan 2018” lol
got a taste of his own medicine
This is why Raye got her own Manga, cause she can slash draw kill an opponent
when the sub replay is friday
22:00 "I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING...!"
Ahh yes. The accidental OTKs with slash draw.
Brings me back to a time where I cooked a 60 card sky striker deck online and played for a bit
He really got'd judgement cut end, for all of his savings huh?

Sky Striker players are just that damn good at top decking
even jsut cutting tot hte end, i can feel all the hurt lmaooo
Yugioh is not about skill, its about believing in the heart of the cards, the you will get the right cards at the right moment.
WCQ top 2 EU lost to slash draw is just Yugioh in a nutshell
I'm not even mad if I lost to raw Slash draw
Someone send it to Lukevonkarma. That's wild.
Just draw the win condition
The definition of Karma
That card should have animation right 😂
I love how the Striker player literally went to 43 cards in deck just to sneak those Slash Draws in.

Sky Striker best Deck! Let's Go!
I guess their right abt sky striker if they get turn four they win
Top 10 anime comebacks
Sometimes they just want it more
This was pure gold
When your opponent believes in the heart of cards more than you.
I hope to see this on sub replay friday :)
We’ll never see this happen again
This guy made a deal with the reaper
The guy in the chat pushing Solfachord 😂😂😂
He was just better at the game
Haha, Raye goes Erza Scarlet Mode
That was like sauron defeat in the first movie
If he runick dispelling on end phase turn 4 when shizuku adds a card it might have been avoided.
It got to turn 4 and sky won. It was true!😮
Now I’m motivated
Joshua forgot one important thing about Sky Striker and its playerbase,
They always draw like anime protagonists.
There's a reason why Slash Draw is at 1 in the TCG lol
I mean I also met once and until now I still can not believe it.😅
Haven't finish the video, but slash draw?? Oh boy
This was hilarious
I don't know what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't that...
Well, I mean striker did make it to turn 4. 🤷♂
There's no way that happened
that was hilarious 😂😂😂
Ito-ryu iai: shi-shison song
in this economy?
2023 and Joshua still got clapped by Strikers
I mean, sometimes you just end up in a Sub Replay Friday
We’ll see you on the lukevonkarma stream
ain't no way
In how many ways do you want this game to tell you "do not play Runick"? 😂
Whats the Music that plays at 5:00?
Pokemon. I think it’s the pokemon center song. I’m not sure.
Why is slash draw even limited in the tcg? Because of tear? Is it even possible to set up slash draw?
If you watch the whole video you'll have your answer
Danger! Saryuja FTK was a thing a few years ago. Just realized you may have not been there to see it, my apologies
@@eonflutehza131 yeah, ty. Wasn't playing back then. Interesting ftk haha
@@ErinMT2 a very funny one too, since it involved stacking your deck from the bottom with Saryuja multiple times, that way when you activated Slash Draw, you knew you were doing to draw it
NOOO WAYYY
What did i just watch...
Is there a reason Joshua held Maxx C on turn 4? Sky Striker you usually preemptive Maxx C because of Raye and Kaijus.
this deck is already turbo omega drawing so much that maxx c could be detrimental to the point you might dexk out with it
@@michaeldavid1566 Maxx “C” is an extender logic lmao
Yes its called thinking striker is just gonna pass on 1 summon and then not dropping the maxx c cuz they already summoned 2x and you would be admiting that you missed on 2 draws.

@@meathir4921 watch how Distant Coder got decked out with the similar deck that josh is using
could have revived Elf with cat earlier, prolly just on auto pilot cuz elf is banned in TCG and u know...its striker

Luke von karma woukd love this lmao
I'd probably quit the game if this happened to me
sky striker best deck. imma play triple slash draw in my deck
Get good son. If you played a good deck like Tearlaments you would have won on turn 2 , not loose to Slash Draw on turn 6
Yugi is real and he plays Sky Striker lmao
Talked all that crap just to get Yugi Muto’d 😂😂😂
Wow😮
After all these years sky striker is still the best deck
Wait, how does slash draw work?
discard one card and send cards same as your opponent control to the graveyard from your deck. draw 1 card and if that slash draw, destroy all card on the field and give your opponent damage x2000 per card destroyed
basically on this case, discard 1 card from hand send 6 Cards from deck to GY then draw 1, if its slash draw, destroy all cards on the field and inflict 2000 per card destroyed. basically if you have 4+ cards that can be destroyed, you're dead if they draw slash draw
Should have used maxx c instead of bullying lol
I wish Slash Draw had deck building around that. Its freaking awesome
Runick player deserved it tbh xD
Sky Striker best deck
lets gooo sub replay Friday episode early
20 minute duel and you get no rewards because of an omega lucky OTK, thanks Master Duel
L + ratio'd
Real talk though, was the opponent cheating? That was ridiculous
