The way she said Maeerio Kart is unforgettable
Agreed. 100 percent pure Jersey.

Carmela’s accent was hilarious to hear xD!
Cawrt*
I cringed a little when she said that
1:10 You see AJ was okay without Mario Cart, skateboarding or TV. But when Carm said no internet to watch Borko uploads, his tears started rolling down his cheeks.
If anyone told me no Borko uploads, I'd be like the woman with the Virginia ham under one arm crying the blues because I didn't have any Borko uploads in the other.
Through your veil of tears
He lost his shiz when he had to start visiting grandma Liv!
I would have too!😂😂😂
*Kart
Not even Cinderalla cried when Mario kart got taken away from her
I love how Livia gets flustered for a sec when AJ says “If it’s a joke why are you crying?”
Yeah sure say hi to your wife
AJ actually called it pretty well here.
@@jimreily7538 He was a dipshit, but he really knew how to see through the nonsense said by his family
Little AJ > Grown AJ
😂😅😂😅😂
As someone who has had a very personal experience with narcissist family members, the actress playing Livia nails the role down. God bless her soul.
I often wonder where the show would've gone if Nancy Marchand hadn't died -- she was amazing and there would've been plenty of gold to mine from Livia!
@@defragsbin Ive read that the story would develop into an actual court case against Tony with the airline tickets and Livia would consider testifying against her son or actually do it. Originally Sopranos would have been 4 seaons long and I think as part of that original ending, Tony would go to meet Johnny Sack and screen would fade to black which confirms his death to the meeting, similar cinematography used in the actual ending with the screen fading to black. imo the death at the hands of the Lupertazzi family originally would make alot of sense, a mounting case against him, Tony killing made guys without permission etc.
Charles Schwab ova here.
David Chase based Livia on his own mother. When Nancy Marchand read for the part, he said she had the exact cadence of his mother.
They're all narcissistic😁, and I think the grandma has some form of Alzheimer's or dementia.....🤪
The "GO AHEAD HONEY" has to be a top 5 Livia moment
Livia the best worst character on the whole show

I prefer the scene in which she is laughing at Tony bc he fell down the stairs and his gun fell out of his jacket.

Borko used to steal Sopranos clips from HBO warehouse then sell them for a buck a piece down on Bloomfield Avenue. A real hellion.

Amazing little details by Chase. Its most likely something he witnessed from a relative growing up. Lol
@@box8889 He said Livia was based on his own mother.
I love Junior’s delayed and calm “who do you think you’re yelling at?” when Tony berates him.
Was he telling that to tony
"A little suicidal gesture, that's all!"🤣🤣😂
I love how he he just repeats Melfi’s words
IT WASN'T LIKE FREAKIN COBAIN
Whateva happened there.
“Grandma, how could it be a joke if your crying?” Is one of the best deliveries on this entire show.
"😢 This is really the last time, I'm never coming back to this house 🥺" grabs another bite of food
But she wasn't crying at the joke. She was crying about Tony leaving.
@Alexander-fy8ecthe whole point is you don't break into tears over telling a joke, you laugh. She didn't laugh or smile once during that. The only time you saw her laugh in the show was whenever Tony got hurt in some way
@Alexander-fy8ec she...wasn't joking. Lydia is a narcissist, that's what she does. You must be one too huh...
The juxtaposition really just highlights how narcissistic she is and that child would even notice it.
4:30 Look at the way Carmela freezes and rolls her eyes when Livia starts ranting about her father. She’s desperately trying to keep Sunday dinner somewhat functional but you can tell she just wants to explode.
Yes Yes. We all watched the video. 🙄

@@NicecatholicgirlI love that comment. One of my fav scenes. Sopranos is so underrated funny
The show was never the same without Livia. She was such a great character acted to perfection!
She is so great at being annoying but not enough that you want her to stop because she's so funny and entertaining. That's a really tough balance she pulled off perfectly
She was great indeed. To me though, part of the show died when Ralphie was killed. Similar to Shane from The Walking Dead, and Stringer Bell from The Wire. They were that spark or live wire, that made you watch, and kept the show entertaining. Gus Fring had that presence also from Breaking Bad. You hated to love all of them.
@@JayCity10 I really wished they never killed off stringer bell in the wire, was surprised he died in season 3 like that, lame, but his death was very good, took 2 cold blooded top street killer guys to kill him with the ok from Avon Barksdale, but Marlo Stanfield replaced him well
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 There were people, who stopped watching because Stringer died. That shows what a force and character he was. This was Idris Elba crown Jewel, his Tony Soprano of acting.

That woman in Pennsylvania who murdered her three kids and set her house on fire was an underrated character... also, I wonder if Livia actually hinted what she would like to do... she had three children and almost set her hous on fire with those mushrooms.
With a daughter like Janice, can you blame her? The other kids and the house would be collateral damage, as the government likes to say.
That was actually one of the clues that Melfi picked up on that led to her realizing that Livia wanted to kill him. She wasn't intentionally hinting at anything. She was subconsciously giving herself away.
@@yaqubebased1961imagine if Livia had heard about Casey Anthony. She'd have never stopped saying she couldn't be that bad of a mother since she never murdered her kids

@@GP-ru1bt I disagree. She treats AJ nicely when he comes to visit her later. I think she’s happy he’s going to come but oblivious to him being punished. Also, if she wasn’t oblivious, she wouldn’t say “what’s going on” when the problem came to a head.
Old people are so happy to get a visit from the young they don’t care how it happens
Wasnt she being sarcastic?
This is comedy gold as it goes
These dinner scenes with Livia were hilarious 🤣
Borko came to UA-cam with 17 De Los Cielos clips on his computer and now he's competing in the Sopranos Sectionals this year... Frankly the man is a role model

They could have made a show just about this family sitting at dinner going at each other and it would be incredible.
Livia is literally Chuck Mcgill
I love how in the show Carmella's cooking consistently seems to have magical properties. Even when Livia's having one of her moments she cant stop stuffing herself. That's probably the only reason she bothers coming.

It’s a crime to not watch Borko.
The Soprano family had the almost magical ability to have the most entertaining fights while eating the best food at practically every meal they had. Truly a bunch of effing sociopaths.
Only this show could make a stranger's family dinner as entertaining as it did. Amazing
Nancy, what an actress! 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Bruh no mario kart, that's ruthless
season one really had some of the best moments, livia was a huge loss
I love how Jr says “who do you think you’re yelling at?” So calmly. He wasn’t afraid of Tony at all.
How many times did he play catch with him?! He also bought that kid a $400 surfboard for his birthday
Man, AJ had so much enthusiasm, but day by day, dinner by dinner, they ground him down to a suicidal teenager. Then, ground him down some more.
Carmela at the end was legit done with livia lmao...the look on her face 🤣🤣
Livia is one of the best characters on this show and is a major reason why the earlier seasons are my top favorites.
