Not me, getting gifted a Victorla 10-in-1 Multimedia Center to then buying a Sonos Immersive Home Theater to facilitate a better way to play vinyl records around my house. Then finding out I need to upgrade my Turn Table and discovering Sonos has a special edition.. Thus leading me to your precious video and now finally here I am contemplating do I just skip the Sonos Pro-Ject edition to something more badass like this 🔥. Anyways - this was super helpful and very thorough to help me understand how far this hobby can really go 😂👏👏
Cool video! My current setup consists of 9 Pro-Ject RS boxes, all balanced besides the streamer and DAC, driving the Tannoy 6.2 speakers & the REL T7 sub. I'm really happy withhow everything sounds.
Have you thought about adding a step up transformer, specifically the Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box DS3, between the turntable and the RS2 phono? I'm asking because I have a pretty similar setup - Xtension 9 -> Quintet Black -> RS2 phono and was weighing that option, but I'm still on the fence. Great video, really enjoyed it!
@@tybym actually I took a look at the product page and I believe that step up transformer is meant for ppl who have MC cartridges with lower end MM phono amps. So with your RS2 I don’t believe it is needed.
Nice video! But The clips where not of that high quality that I was able to hear differences, which i'm sure will be there. What i do heared is that you would benefit mostly from a speaker upgrade . I like the expensive Focals, but this lower priced product are not up to the rest of your system i think. build a nice DIY kit from, for example, GR research with high quality cross-over parts. or another great DIY kit. It's about double the quality for the same money and in some cases even more.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about speakers to DIY. Also my setup is in an entryway so I can't have massive floor standing speakers sadly.
Is it worth dropping 700 usd for the rs power box?
The original single unit power box? Seems expensive to me
