@@80ssynthfan48 I agree re the Jupiter 4 - whilst in the 80s - it would not have been as good as the Prophet 5 - which was excellent because of the variety of sounds & excellent presets - today - where I have the time to tweak & play the synth live - I much prefer the Jupiter 4 - it is 4 x SH101 synths with each voice sounding different to the other. The Juno 106 is amazing but obviously a jupiter 8 on a budget. The juno 60 is awesome too
To my ears it’s the P5
That's great to hear you're enjoying the P5!
I love that juno 4. Wow
I assume you mean the Jupiter 4 - which is an awesome synth - thanks for watching
The Jupiter 4 is an absolute bad boy. That and the Roland Juno-60 are the only 80s synths I actually covet.
@@80ssynthfan48 yes - they are the raw synths before they started to get accomplished & perfect sounding!

cs-80 has the best tone in my opinion
Thanks for sharing your opinion! The cs-80 is definitely a classic with its incredible tone.
Title of video is "Must have top ten poly synths with mind blowing FX"... proceeds to show 10 synthesizers that don't have any built-in FX at all.
Digital FX were not invented in the 70s & 80s - I have to abbreviate - the whole point is I HAVE ADDED THE fx afterwards to compete with todays synths
