The more expensive version I noticed have LIQUID soup base unlike the cheap powder ones you will normally get. Also some were not too expensive due to the fact that there were at least 4-5 packs which will bring the over all cost down per meal.
My thoughts as well. These noodles are ridiculous in price, and I certainly would not be purchasing them. You can dress up any cheap noodle with good ingredients. You don't need an expensive noodle as a base.
The Samyang carbonara ramen is my all time favorite. I love the texture of the noodles, the creamy sauce... deeeelicious. I use a quarter of the spice sauce to keep my esophagus happy haha.
The brand is Samyang, Buldak (Fire chicken) is one of the flavors lol. But yes, they are one of my favorite noodle brands, spiciness aside. Their noodles have that perfect chewiness to them.
Technically, the second one is the only expensive one since you get only one serving, while other come in big pack and if you divide a price, it's not so much.
$22 USD for what looks like 10 instant noodle is still expensive. Bulk Instant Noodle tends to be less than a dollar a pack with the cheapest being 20-25 cents per pack. $22 for 10 is over $2 a pack which is pricey for a base in general. They still added their own add-ins on top of that.

The Cream Carbonara Instant Noodle is one of my favorite ramen noodles. I know people that like it but don't like the spicy, so they only put it like a part of a packet.
i've eaten 一蘭 (ichiran) before (in the actual resturaunt) and one thing i really liked was the style. seated in a bar kinda thing but with boards beside each other, in front is a curtain behind the kitchen that gives your meal, and their food is really really good too! highly reccomend.
Been there before in Taiwan too lol, their ramen (because they don’t make anything else) is definitely a 10/10! If you don’t like like, you didn’t order what you wanted lol
Wow I didn't know there was a cream carbonara noodle! I've only ever tried the normal carbo ones and they are super addictive especially when you add additional cheese into them 🤤
There are options like this in the US, you just need to be in an area that has a sizable enough population of Asians to support a larger type Asian supermarket
I remember that cream carbonara pasta! It's really rare in Poland, it's about 7/8 zł per one serving (about 2$) and is mostly in those fancy stores with stuff from around the world (found this one in a local Carrefour, though). Me and my friend made it recently, we added extra cheese and a bit of basil, absolutely reccomend! Was a bit spicy though, which doesn't say well about my spice resistance, considering I only had half a packet of it.

I always buy the instant ramen version every time we go there and it's really good although the taste is a lot different from the normal ramen but it's pretty expensive so i don't go often. And the Wine Chicken Instant Noodle was a product from TTL (Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation) , so the wine in the pack is a real deal , non-water down stuff.(The noddle was made by one of the leading brand here in Taiwan too.
