It always amazes me that you are a licensed Dermatologist who actually takes time out of her day to
    1. Go to different stores
    2. Share your knowledge on why certain OTC skin care treatments can or cannot work (for many people) by recording potentially hours of video
    3. Spend hours of your personal time editing videos
You do it for the measly amount of money UA-cam is willing to pay you (I suspect nowhere close to your usually billed rate).
Thank you so much Dr. Dray for making the world a safer place...

For those with epilepsy, there are some essential oils you should avoid: “Rosemary, fennel, sage, eucalyptus, hyssop, camphor and spike lavender are not recommended as essential oils if you have epilepsy. This is because these essential oils may trigger seizures in some people with epilepsy. For pregnant women there are also a number of other oils to avoid.” From the Epilepsy Society UK.

I'd been hoping forever that you would talk about the Trader Joe's moisturizing cream. I bought it randomly one day over a year ago and it's my go-to lotion for everything these days. I've been dealing with eczema on my hands for a few years now, and this is the only cream that has helped and that I enjoy using during the day. You also can't beat the price. If I recall, $4 for 16oz, or $10 on Amazon.

Trader Joe’s doesn’t make it any higher than 15. It leaves 0 white cast which as a man I find beneficial. I use it as a day time moisturizer and then follow with a Asian chemical only sunscreen. It’s a nice moisturizer and the low amount of zinc actually helps control shine and oil plus I get more robots spf coverage

I go to one person who does skin care and they are all about essential oils and then go to a different person and they are so against essential oil. As a consumer this is so confusing and frustrating! I am trying to be a smart consumer but honestly ready to just pull out my hair..literally! I had been mixing sweet almond oil with essential oils thinking i was doing something great for my skin and then I see this and think oh great what kind of damage have I done. I am way beyond frustrated with skin care! I can't afford to go to a dermatologist so as a result of that I have been trying to do my own research. I can see all that has done is confuse me more than ever! I assume I am not the only one who has this issue..I hope anyway!

No I wouldn't buy from a pyramid scheme.I have searched the Internet for information. It's so confusing as a consumer. I try to be smart and do research but all it has done is confuse me even more. I have just been using my sweet almond oil now to help lock the moisture in since I am from North Dakota! I tried using a Hyluronic acid serum but that dried my skin because I didn't know how the cold dry weather would pull moisture from my skin. I would love to just use retinol but its just to expensive not to mention the doctor visit. I have alot of scarring from acne. I didn't get acne until 30 plus but for the most part now I only get breakouts during that time of the month. All I can say is it is a battle and very depressing not to have smooth nice skin! I can deal with the wrinkles but not the pit scars and discoloration.

I also use the regular 30 spf sunscreen cream it's a larger container ment primarily for the body but I've recently put it on my face. I use the midnight Summer's dream body lotion, I like it in the winter & I have tried it on my face, I really like the texture of it. I'm thinking of using it as an eye cream. And the oil free lotion for face is great, I also like the thicker winter version. I don't have much sensitivity to fragrances so I like using a lot of these products. But I will say I was super disappointed with the micacellar facial wipes. I found them irritating & did not take my barely there makeup off nor were they hydrating. I do like the jojoba oil for a face oil just a tiny bit if I'm dry in the winter or as a hair moisturizing oil over night treatment. I wasn't impressed with the antioxidant serum in the cylinder or the acia face scrub or the hand cream balms in the tubes.

We have a brand over here called Essano who goes by the motto "Loved by Your Skin Naturally" and when I was in the supermarket the other day noticed a new line from them - Superfoods Certified Organic Turmeric Creme Cleanser and Superfoods Cinnamon Purifying Gel Cleanser followed by Cinnamon Revitalising Face Exfoliator. Dr Dray, I heard you groan and say "why would you want to put THAT on your face?" all the way from New Zealand .
We are badly suffering from the "if it's organic and natural, it's good for you" mentality over here and trying to change their minds is frustrating when we are bombarded with products like these.
Just stop it with the annoying essential oils and fragrance.

I actually love lavender in my skin care it has helped tremendously for my eczema and i have used lavender oil for my eczema directly on my skin and in two days its gone. So I wouldn't tell people to avoid lavender unless they are allergic. Considering also there's no concrete evidence to support the claim that males should avoid lavender due to it supposedly causing a hormanal imbalance in males which causes male breast growth . Like you have said before about other studies it may or may not be true considering there has not been enough study on it. None the less I do appreciate your videos and input. For anyone watching please keep in mind what works for one person may not be the case for you. Always go ask your Dr and Dermatologist for the best advice.
