Being a group of crafty peeps, we can always take the recycle box and put vinyl on it to match our craft room color schemes. Thank you, Angie, for a great group of suggestions.
Great ideas Angie! I like grip it and rip it cutters too. They make narrow Paper Trimmers that's a ruler with Trimmer size that may work under the big role of Butcher paper velcroed down somewhere...just a thought.🙂 Happy Crafting!🤗
These are great suggestions. I found a bamboo box like the kitchen one you have on Amazon with the cutter on top. It's ok but I think I like just using my scissors to cut off the roll. 🤷🏾♀️ It's all about having choices.
Thanks so much Angie! I’ve used chic wrap organizers for years. they are sturdy enough that I can use command velcro type strips to mount them so I can take them down if I need to but I can usually just leave them mounted to the outside front edge of my bookcases in my studio. I store flat paper in boxes meant for either scrapbooking or for storing copy paper as they are easy to stack and tuck away on a shelf.
For anyone that is looking for a way to pull and cut your paper. Take a hacksaw blade and fasten it to the wall, slide paper behind it and use to tear the paper. If you need a wider blade type use a yard stick the same way.
I use the wooden holder you recommend for my butcher paper. It works pretty well but I also find tearing it off can be a bit of a pain at times. I am hoping when I get it wall-mounted it will make a difference. I am going to look into the kitchen cutter thing now, it6 looks like it can be useful for a lot of things!
Another idea is to cut off a section of the cardboard with the blade on the wax paper holder and attach it to the bottom of the pegboard and use that as the cutter for the paper.
Angie, thank you soooo much!!! Ordering the kitchen box today. You're the absolute best!!! Thank you!!😄
Hope you like it!
Angie, you're right on point again. Paper and canvases can take up so much room. The queen of great ideas with options. Thank you! 😊
Thanks so much!
Thank Angie you always come to the rescue.

Good ideas. I have used a slider plastic wrap box on other wraps to cut. I will look for my bigger butcher paper roll box now. Thx.

Thanks for sharing! I did like the cutter on this box as it was more like a paper cutter.

It is! I just saw someone post in the comments about using a hacksaw blade. Now I wonder if you could add a hacksaw blade to that wood holder.

I may have to try that!

Looking on Amazon for the wide wooden holder but cannot find it. Does anyone know the Amazon product name for it?
I have it linked in the description below this video along with the other options shown.
