I don't have children but still wanted to see this. I'm so glad I did because the first spot with your daughter wearing the eating art smock is absolutely adorable! All that wavey hair. They're both beautiful and I think you MUST be a great mom. Thank you for sharing all that you do.
The tablet holder is also great when kids start drawing pictures from books or instructions printed from online. We use it to hold open instructional drawing books or other sketches so it's easy to see the directions and copy the pictures. It was awesome when the kiddo was into comics and graphic novels because she could hold up the last page she drew while working on the next one.
I need the traveling art case for myself! I always journal on the bed or on the couch!
The cubes you have in that room since I no longer have little kids 😭 I would use for books and plants and that bench seat would be a great place to have a coffee and read (esp if I had windows like you). One could even get a second bench portion and place it directly in front of the other to make it double the width, the bench would be great for a snuggle, a pet, or stretching out more and the extra deep cubbies could hold over flow items! I think we all forget that kids things can be for adults and adult things can be for kids! We get stuck in this box of using things based on what they're named instead of being creative with it all!
That red travel desk is the best! I’ve taken it on every trip for the last year.

I had “backpacks” when my kids were young (30 and 28 currently) and they had a velcro white board and a zipper section to hold crayons and coloring books and paper. It was a travel lifesaver.
I never really comment on videos so it’s funny that I actually looked around to try to figure out how to do this just to tell you this. That’s how much I love u!

After my kids aged out of having lots of toys in their rooms I moved our cubes to a spare room and use them to organize their sports uniforms. I have 3 kids that do multiple sports each for travel and school. Plus PE uniforms. Each kid has an assigned color and after a game or practice they wash and return the full uniform to a bin. Now the stress of finding all the uniform peices is (mostly) gone they are still teenagers after all. Monday morning they grab a PE uniform and off to school they go.

I'm so glad you made this video, I was just about to redo my boy's room and I so wanted to know where you got those cool shelves for toys. And that travel drawing kit is perfect for road trips. Also those frames will make their little hearts so happy with it hanging in their room. Thanks a ton, I definitely gotta go to IKEA.

My mother had a ‘craft’ table that we used, it was an older style school desk. A wardrobe hanging rail attached to one end allowed the rolls of newspaper (small local paper self printed) to be used both as a drawing surface but could also be used to protect the desk surface for other crafts such as paint or glue.
I LOVE this video!! Thanks 🙏🏻 I also LOVE their hooded towels. My twins are 5 now and they still use them. I thought they were more absorbent than say the Batman or princess ones. Plus they look better hanging in our one bathroom small home instead of bright colorful character hooded towels.

I love the paper idea. I'm going to hide it behind the chair in the playroom so I can just move the chair.
Some of these items - paper roll and similar shelving system as well as a large Wooden IKEA coffee table with 6 kids’ chairs for art projects and as kids table at dinner parties were my go to 30(!) years ago.

I use that cube system from amazon. We bought colorful soft bins with handles. I bought 2 sets of 9 cubes and have side by side like one huge system in my daughters closet with closet doors removed. She keeps her stuffed animals in them😊

I have one from Bunnings (Don't know if bunnings is a thing in America.) I use it for my daughters toys too and label some draws and do a clean out every few months of things she hasn't touched.

Cute ideas! Maybe put the paper horizontally (on that bench or a table) so it doesn't unroll by itself, and kids don't color off the edge onto the wall.

IKEA has been a game hanger for me. It’s annoying that IKEA has this reputation for being cheap but the quality is really great for the price. I just built a KALLAX unit for my husband this week and it looks amazing! Do you happen to know if there’s a weight max for using the KALLAX 1x4 you have described as a bench?

ummm.... ngl, next time I'm there I''m grabbing one of those red art sets for myself. I hate being in the car and not having a surface to write on. That will fit so perfect in the side pocket and I can keep some pens inside it!

Kids might not stay on the paper with it on the wall you might want to put something to protect the wall from any slips of crayon going over the edge of the paper.

While I absolutely appreciate the content I have to wonder if I have a different definition of “hacks”. These are basically just things you can buy and use them as they are intended. It’s like “I have a great grocery shopping hack! Buy a car so you don’t have to carry everything”
IKEA products are mentioned so often on home improvement, storage, furniture dupe videos! There is not an IKEA store in my state! I know I would be addicted if I ever had one near by! Boo- hoo!

A play room????? How does everyone have such big houses???? People who live in a 2 rooms flat have no play room or anything like that...
The cheapist way is to buy a wallpaper roll as to an odd role in the store that is sold off cheaply, you just use the back of the roll, kids don't care it's not brilliant white

Word of advice- please lose the intro. It’s annoying and I always skip it and I’m 100% sure everyone else does too. No offense.
Just fyi: this channel has one of the shortest intros. I skip other ones that have, for example, the same collage of pics of the boogie creator, flashing up in the screen 5 times- 3 times just so u stare at the pics and 2 times with messages like subscribe yay or whatnot. That is truly annoying... Believe me this intro is not too bad.
