    This time, I made a soft sponge cake green tea version.
    Green tea has a pleasant aroma and a bitter taste, so it goes well with sweet cakes
    The process is simple, so make sure to make it.
    ※This cake does not use a baking powder, it just swells with the foam of the egg.
    Ingredient(1cup=240ml)
    6 egg
    flour 3/4cup(90g)
    Green Tea Powder 1Table spoon+ 1 teaspoon(10g)
    Vegetable oil 75ml(60g)
    milk 100ml
    Sugar 1/2cup+2Table spoon(120g)

    Oh my Goshhh! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS RECIPE!!! I've tried allll green tea cake recipes but this is THE BEST! Very moist, pillow soft cake!! Everyone loved it!! ❤❤❤❤ Although can you please explain why there is no baking powder or baking soda?? Can you put baking powder to make it higher? Thanksss so much!!

      the whipped egg whites is the leavening agent so you don't need baking powder/soda.

    사각틀 사이즈는 똑같은데 양은 절반으로 줄이고싶어요! 오븐에서 굽는시간을 조절하면 될까요?

    재료들을 얼마나 더해야 할까요?

      계란기준 1.5개정도 더 넣으심 될것같아요. 계산하기 애매하니까 계란 8개로 늘린다고 생각하면 밀가루 113g,녹차가루 12~13g,오일 75g,우유 125g,설탕 150g으로 하시고 굽는시간을 약간 더 늘려주세요. 60분 지나면서부터는 중간중간 오븐문을 열어서 윗면을 살짝 눌러 익은지 확인해주세요^^

    I want to try making this cake. Can I warm the milk and veg oil in the microwave oven instead of over the stove? If so, how many minutes and at what temperature? Are the eggs grade A eggs? Also, I don't have square pan, can I use round one?

    혹시 녹차가루를 레시피처럼 데운 우유에 먼저 녹여서 만드는것과, 우유 없이 (녹이지않고) 박력분과 함께 체쳐서 만드는것은 어떤 차이가 있나요? 쉬폰이나 카스테라에서 우유 넣고 녹이거나 그냥 바로 넣는 두가지가 많이 보이네요~

    hey! I baked this cake, and whilst it tasted amazing, it didn't rise and become fluffy, and in fact just stayed stodgy in the middle :( I whisked the eggs for ages until they were bent, do you know why this could be?

      @@leninacrowne3640 that's the problem. U MUST use room temperature eggs. I also messed up with cold eggs the first time.
      So next time use room temp eggs and another useful tip is to Put a bigger bowl of warm water below your bowl when you whisk your eggs. Then you get results even faster.

      cake flour but if you cannot find any, self raising flour is fine.

      The white chocolate ganache that I think goes best with this cake!Or you can mix matcha powder with vanilla cream

    My cake was not green at all.. 5g matcha is not much and there was only a sugar flavor? T-T.. Mine was ready at 65minutes and fluffy though
