He always had a Beatle-esqe sound in his own music. A guitar maestro on acoustic or electric. It only got better with technology. Almost sixty albums of various flavors. Few as innovative as him. His faith is a big plus.
Interesting. I like this rendition...as an homage and a muted statement that floats across the channel to George's living friends. ' whike there is life...there is hope. And that Hope is in Christ Jesus. Being justified as a gift by His Grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. (Wilberforce remembered)
There’s some alleged story lately that George Harrison accepted the Lord Jesus very shortly before he passed…if true would be awesome…he’s now not only a Beatle but a brother in the Lord gone to glory
When people think of Phil they always focus on his guitar expertise, but forget about how great a vocalist he is.
Not really seeing that in this example.
I’d call this a passable vocal performance.
@@cedarbay3994 That's music for ya. All subjective. I think his vocals are easily as good as his guitar skills.
Not me baby. He's the full package player in my books
He is one of the best musicians to have ever lived. True tragedy, so few know him.

The first time I heard him in the early 1970’s was about the time that Paul McCartney had a hit with Wings and I thought they sounded alike.
Mesmerizing
Dude!

Some of Phil’s best singing!
Just awesome as always❤❤❤
Thank you.
Heartbreaking at that tempo!
Would have loved to see him play this song with Prince
