Welcome to the channel mate! its a sort of mixed bag of fishing here i started kayaking about 2 years ago but i do enjoy fishing from the shore using lures and baits so hopefully you enjoy the content. Thanks for watching!
Just come across your channel Sam, must say very impressed with your fishing, handling, filming all of it bud, keep it up I'm sure your channel will grow steadily, also thank you for your service
Bloody horrible when it’s aching I bet mate the shoulder has been behaving recently though which is great.. for now! Thanks for watching bud it’s much appreciated!
😂 I know I was gutted when putting the footage together! it was a pretty impressive take as well. Perhaps next time il be more camera conscious! 😅 thanks for checking out the video bud !
Some lovely Bass there mate, Jerseys a place ive always wanted to visit. Might have to put it on my bucket list of kayak fishing adventures. Great video, tight lines. Terry
Great video. Cracking scenery and top water decent size bass. Bang on. I saw the jelly fish in the bay west of Sorel when I saw you. Shed loads of them everywhere there from up top view. All the best.
@@FISHISLANDTV switched notifications off as when you and Sam “Beneath the Waves Fishing” post, I have to watch like the addict I am mate. Not far off 900 subs in a year. I don’t know stats, but seems good. Should be as you do make a good video doubtless.
First time viewer of your channel, and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great session you had, especially the take on the surface of that nice bass, and then to repeat again in the next bay. Top video pall. Will now subscribe. Cheered from Whitley bay.
Great video, here in Cornwall our scenery is the very same , and jelly fish in the summer omg . Love the kayak , debating upgrading my old moken 12.5 to a viking ,, tight lines
You should buddy I used to have a moken 10 lite just for inshore stuff and it was great. You will definitely notice a positive difference between the two kayaks. Thanks for watching it’s much appreciated!
Great video Sam and some lovely fish. First time watching your channel after the recommendation from Cal. Was thinking about getting a kayak but after Cals experience I’m not so sure. Stay safe and tight lines. Mike
Sure thing buddy. so I use the Penn conflict inshore range of lure rods. they arnt too pricey and get the job done. I use the 35g and 45g setups. I also use a savage gear sinning rod which is slightly heavier for if I’m using larger soft plastic lures or wrasse fishing. speak to your local tackle shop buddy I’d say you’d want something between 7-9ft and between 30-50g casting weight. For the reels I use Penn spinfishers or slammers 2500-3000 size loaded with 20-30lbs braid.
thanks for watching matey ..Great idea to give it a go .. it’s a strange one to figure as the tides will run parallel… I’d say smallest tide possible, no wind and perhaps head out on the drop back in on the flood .. I think it would actually be easier launching from bonne nuit. let me know how you get on if you attempt it before I do ! 🍻

@@liam4169 Hi, I fish Filey on the kayak to, I've not fished Flanborough before though as it looks hard work getting the big old Profish Reload up and down from the car park. Unless you know of an easier route? Cheers
@@Alexxx---101 hi mate, the north landing is tough but definitely doable just take your time with it, I manage with mine fully loaded and it’s not too bad, definitely worth it mate
It's good mate. To be honest it’s one of them. it suits my fishing needs very nicely although I don’t always take it out with me. It is perfect for my offshore trips or to aid me with battling a racing bit of tide. For the fishing I do it’s worth every penny IMO ….although to someone else that may not be trolling, heading out offshore or facing battles whilst paddling into tides it might not be worth it as much. I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons tbh.
@@FISHISLANDTV Yeah it does look good and I agree with what your saying but for £1100 you could buy a 2012 Vauxhall Corsa. Just seems over priced to me.
