The T7 gets away with those tyres hey, at least until it’s wet clay. Does it all in the dry though. You nailed the brief for this bike on this trip Tom. Keep up the content legend. We appreciate it.
Yeah the head stem bolt, needs a ridiculous amount of torque, 110 ftlb ish from memory, certainly more than you got on it with the boguns shifter. 👍. Nice Vid. Thanks for sharing. T7 owner here, yep you can't beat the CP2 engines unreal.
Tom, you're still going strong my guy. Loved to watch this little trip. First watched your video's a few years back. Wanted a bike since then... Finally, in april, I will get to show of my first bike, at 36... Never too old to start right? 😂 Keep them coming mate 😎👌👊💪
I started watching you ~10 years ago as I grew up in NSW. Kept watching you when I moved to QLD. Cool to see you riding Kinglake which is now my local twisty ride since I moved to VIC almost 4 years ago.
Love that I'm not the only one who can't help but make the Castle reference going through Bonnie Doon. Shame I didn't catch you on your way through Mansfield, couldve let you borrow my tools to handle that head stem bolt. Seems that Foodies had you handled though 😂😂😂. The bakery has some primo goods though!
Did you do any fuel recording? should be able to get close to 500km with 23-litres. Hume, is only a few places to divert south, having to go around the Mt's. 4:48 That is nothing... Phillip Island has a bigger Koala. 9:47 Think that looks like Mansfield-Whitfield Rd... between Whitlands and Whitfield. Microfiber and you can dry most of the dampness you get in the mornings. CP3 is in the 900 and ooooh boi it is nice. 22:16 Some double nut it.
Do you have a detailed review of this bike? I have a drz that I love but I want something that I can take on the highway for a few hours and also ride with more gear. The drz lacks power. I really likes the ktm 1090 but It too big off road for me.
Drinking game. Watch all parts. Take a shot everytime Tom says humble. Die of alcohol poisoning. Win. Great series on the tenere though. Best review of this bike I have seen, as you are using it as most normal non youtubers would. 👍
Keep doing this, please.
I've been watching for years and everyone else fell off.
Would love to see some more long-form stuff like this!
Europe and USA trips getting uploaded next!

This series has been sick. Would love to see more old school camping enduro videos
Outstanding! Just in time! Living vicariously once again!

I've said this before Tom, I would love to be able to ride like you, even for 1 hour. Great series!
Keep these up Tom - I think the Tenere suits you… get one 🔥
Great series, I'm excited about the Europe and USA trip.
I started following you when you did your first out back trip on the 690 . Please carry on doing your content 👍🏻
Great vid series, cheers mate!!

I’m going to retire in Mansfield, best place
Yeah, that headstem nut is supposed to be 150Nm.... which is bloody tight.
I only tightened to 120 ugga dugga

Hows the serenity
You get a better sense of how steep the terrain is with your new gear
Fire Break 10 is giving me flashbacks
Haha you almost made it
Good Man
G'day. When you stopped for the Echidna I thought you where about to ask what Police cars have in common with them.

The animals there are so insanely loud. It’s relaxing but it could be creepy at night alone.
Bishop California is a cool place, should have stayed at the hostel which was an ex brothel. No bed bugs just a mass of hikers and climbers
I stayed at the Vagabond Inn this last time, it was much nicer! I’ve actually been there 3 times haha
Ha ha you go after the little dog and that’s when the blue heeler and staffy are waiting for you in the scrub. That’s how wild dogs get ya
Hey what bivy / tent you got?
Awesome what Kriega luggage do you carry

T7 WR or Desert X?
DesertX if I’m going close to home, Tenere if I’m going proper remote
Oh no... Tom gone corporate, sold out!
Where's Tom's catchphrase? (Who wants to see my wheelie)? Hahaha.... That's what I want to know!
How the heck do you sleep with 4 cans of caffeine before bed Tom? 🤣
These are Jack Daniels cans, I don’t think they have caffeine in them? Tom just lights out when he’s drunk enough… 😂
Like sleeping in the Jurassic park
So we are on Holidays in Japan and my 9 year old says when we get back can we watch those videos from the guy who likes Jack Daniels…#biginjapan
find any backpackers remains :P
