I must admit I was sceptical but after listening to him speak I'm sold 100%.
Watching this 3 years later as we sit top of the league in January, all I can say is Mikel is a genius. I’m grateful to have him as our manager ❤️

Zidane and pep managed in their team B before they went up the ladder. It's going to be a bit challenging for him.
the difference between when zidane and pep came in and artetas situation is the squads they inherited. Zidane had a squad that had won the champions league 2 seasons before a team with ronaldo ramos marcelo bale benzema, pep came into a team that had messi, peak iniesta xavi valdes puyol who had just won the euros he had henry eto a team full of leaders. arteta has not got that at all. i hope it goes well for him but i dont think you can compare the situation they were in to artetas.

I was speaking to a fellow gooner i met in the pub a couple of days ago and we were talking about how we felt when MA became our manager,i told him i was sold on the non negotiables and that he should watch his first interview, and now im back here to see the interview 4 years later and to read the comments after watching the "different knock" who invited the audience to watch it again, the future is bright,the future is red and white
Watching this interview again in four years time, and this guy raises up the identity and make arsenal the worest opponent to face not just in England but in whole Europe and he lived up to every single word he said on his first interview..so let's just give him all the flowers he deserves. BOSS
You can see his knowledge from the way he talks. Hope he could transfer his idea on the pitch and makes us a winning team again.

I love the look in Mikel's eyes. It's almost intimidating. Feels like he knows something you don't and is trying his best to stay humble about it. Haha. He seems like he can't wait to get going and possibly even meet Pep's team soon! I haven't been this excited in a VERY LONG TIME.

It will not be an instant change definitely do not expect it, I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes him right up until the end of the season. The board will back him. He is someone who is honest and must have told them straight to their face that he needs to rebuild the team. He knows half of the squad isnt good enough.
