Still some way to go, but all the Microsoft/Zenimax/ABK stuff is a big step in the right direction.
@@gaming-arcadia Great video man, the service is so underrated, it should be its own gaming platform really, its like steam but for cloud gaming, hopefully Sony, Rockstar, WB and many more bring their games to GFN, so much potential.
Oh and I would always recommend custom settings, anything above 45mb at 4k 60fps seems to add no difference to me(LG 4k Tv), 30mb is perfect for 1080p 120fps, just my experience, I am running 100mb internet, but you don't need high end internet for this service, that's why its so good, unless ur playing at 120/240fps 4k, then u need really good bandwidth, hope that helps. It sure sucks that mods/cheat trainers are not possible on this service though, that's cloud gaming for you.
@@karls4937according to GN, for 4k you need 45mbs . It should be enough. I would try first Priority tier. Not sure how would that look like on my 4k oled tv but i’m testing it.
what the hell, its not a cloud gaming services.. so its not like xbox cloud or luna.. its more of renting the power with games you own? even then some games are excluded?
That’s what I’m saying?? I just want a streaming service for games ffs
Not really depends on your internet speed, and if you live far from there server also that could effect your performance, i live in Canada with a high speed internet and I can’t even play games at full resolution and high graphics.
Have you tried Geforce Now?
I live in a silly village with nothing but some old people and a duck pond, let alone a good connection.
I'm sure there will be a lot of people it doesn't work for, not calling you a liar or anything like that. Just wondering if you tried it, or if you assumed it was bad (maybe based on other services - part of this video includes XCloud being generally disastrous)
@@gaming-arcadia yes i have the ultime membership, if your closer to there main computer server you should be fine, compare to if you live far with a high speed internet 🛜, especially at peaky times .
you might be too far away from the servers, I live in a very small country in Eastern Europe and my internet is around 50 mbps and games ran at 4K 60 with no problem
It's not how far are you from servers
I have a close server around 300km and tried another at 2800km - the difference is the first is 6ms ping and the other 42ms
but both play fine without significant delay while racing a car in game and no packet losses
main problem is your ISP, how it reroutes the traffic and how it handles it overall
I have a fiber 500Mbps which works very good and then my mobile connection is almost useless, while still going 100+Mbps
but sometimes the mobile connection is really good, even if it has lower speed
I appreciate I’m a year late but does anyone know if it’s worth getting GFN via a Samsung tv ? I’ve no lap top or pc blah blah blah just a tv
Thanks!
Hey, thanks so much for the support. Never had one of those before!
I just need starfield
Said nobody ever
@majicweather4890 this is like a month old camel jockey
3:04 what is this game? Thanks
Gears 5
Set your stream up to 120fps and disable v-sync. The latency will fall drastically!
Try Battlefield 2042 title with competitive settings (v-sync off) and you'll see what GeForce Now superpods are capable of.
Yet, the biggest disappointment is no Starfield at release date (bad game optimisation and performance on virtual environments? Not sure!).
Great video.
Cheers from Portugal!
😀✌
Yes, true. For me I can't stand screen tearing and I got a lot of it without v-sync, but if I had G-Sync/variable refresh going I'm sure it feels even better.
now it supports starfield and xbox game pass do you have to login each time or just once into xbox account?
You mean mbit or mb? Cause 50mb/s are a 500mbit connection.
Definitely Megabits, apologies if I mispoke in the vid.
FWIW over here MB is Megabytes, Mb is megabits, mb would be anyone's guess, and our internet service providers LOVE that people conflate them :(
Compared to xbox game pass this sucks balls. Their whole business model with wait times and hour caps is absolutely horrible. I'm sad people support it by paying. xbox game pass is way smoother. Yes I know it's only 1080p but damn. I can at least turn it on and be playing a game within 2mins max. There's no wait times and I can play as long as I want. As far as I can see, Geforce Now is at least 3 yrs behind xbox in cloud gaming.
It doesn't look as good as either let alone "huge upgrade" Its cool but running something natively looks better
ASA!
Where?
@@gaming-arcadia Asa!
it does not work on vr? well thats an idea out of the window. Oh well
Since Microsoft Deal with GeForce Now,my Home👍
Oh???
Only cloud I’m using is Xbox cloud thru my steam deck 😏😎
Xbox cloud is awful though. See the difference in the video and feel sadness.
@@gaming-arcadiayour whole channel is just hating Xbox without any objectiveness so it's kinda hard to take your opinion seriously
This channel? News to me 🤔
@@The_MEMEphis Lmfao what are you on about. You can't possibly have watched any of his videos.
@@gaming-arcadiaAre you serious? When I had a steam deck (sold it last year like a fool) I LOVED playing Xbox cloud gaming! The quality wasn’t the best at times, but I didn’t give af! Why should they feel sadness based on your own personal opinion? 🤷🏽♀️
I have these platforms and could say that all are boring, today studios are not able make up to date good looking funny games, its still same, 20 years already they copy a copy, no real inovations, only more polygons.
Umm you can play old games on it and they are NOT boring hon
@@CandysChannel they wasn't when was new for me, I want interface like was in ready player one, that's will be awasome if would.🙂
Anybody using the 4080 ultra setting on a samsung tv?
You mean one of the recent models that has the app running natively? I haven't got one, but I'd be surprised if it isn't really good
@GameOnAsa my tv let's me download the geforce app
(from system reqs) Note: GeForce NOW Ultimate membership features such as 120 FPS, HDR streaming, and 5.1 & 7.1 surround sound are not currently available on Smart TVs.
These graphics don't look that great
Lol discount code
Starfield is doo doo. you're not missing out on anything. It's literally an Xbox 360 game with an hd texture pack
Interesting, I thought starfield was pretty sweet and definitely nowhere near 360 looking everyone has an opinion but this sorta sounds like hate.
That game looks like trash.
As opposed to figuratively?
