guys , extraction of teeth depends upon ur facial profile , if ur dentist think he can correct that with extraction than distalization of molar won't help that ....

I have an overbite and so a proturding upper lip, and moreover gap on both sides between upper and lower back teeth when i immitate a normal bite (by bringing the lower jaw forward). And my teeth are less visible when i talk, and i have to force to smile to make teeth more visible. I think these all problems are related to eachother, so i wanted to know what this thing problem is called and will be going for braces in a while, so would you recommend teeth extraction? I particulary dont feel fine as i think it can ruin my face.
Be very careful remove teeth, do a lot have research and ask the orthodontics how your face structure will change. After braces my face looks so old and sunken in

Dude Im getting braces in a few days, Im so scared, I heard that some orthodontist will extract 2 teeths if you have an overbite. I dont want a tooth extraction because it's so much work and I thought I can still keep all my teeth. I still don't know if I'll get an extraction or just this method. btw Im allergic to my dentist's anesthesia and I couldn't get my tooth with a cavity removed, so then they decided to fill it.

Such a bad idea. Bringing upper jaw back and making airways smaller will lead to both health (sleep apnea) and cosmetic (flat midface) results. Lower jaw should be bringed forward, with BSSO if necessary, its better than this.
I used to wear braces when I was in high school and after 3 years the doctor removed my braces but at my final appointment to get the retainers I went to my appointment and found out that the doctor left the clinic! 💀They didn’t even know where he left so I had to move on. After two years I started to notice that my teeth were the same as in the video so I decided to go back to another clinic and the doctor told me that I had to remove the two teeth, she said the other doctor didn’t work well he made some mistakes, I kept asking her if it’s the right choice but she said it’s the only choice, right now I’m still wearing braces but I can see some changes after removing two teeth, hopefully soon I will be done with this painful journey 🥲 Update: I've finally removed them! I started wearing braces on October 18, 2022 and had them taken off on April 13, 2024. It took a bit longer because I skipped a couple of appointments, but the result is amazing! I feel much more confident about smiling. Now it's time for the retainers. It's not too bad though I can confidently say it was all worth it.
Hello! to answer your question no not at all i don't remember feeling pain because of course they will numb your teeth, you will bleed a lot let me tell you after they extracted my teeth I changed my pillow case into a new white one and the next day my pillow was full of my blood 😂🤦♀ don't drink something hot after the extraction eat ice cream instead 👍🏽 I don't want to scare you but it will be painful when they will you pull your teeth back every appointment, just make sure you eat before going.

The one that I'm actually scared of is when I get my teeth extracted and then have the results that I wasn't expecting and then dealing some side effects because I read online based on what people have experienced, like sleeping issues then facial changes that I guess weren't good.. 🥲🥲

Also I didn’t see any side effects everything is normal except that you will feel that your lip are big because of the braces 🤣🤣 the upper lip is forward because of my teeth but my lower are fine so yeah i would say it’s depends on you teeth. Don’t be scared just go for it and hopefully everything will go as you wish for 🙏, be positive and always think about the results and how your smile will change 😁
