I have this overbite but my treatment is not like this. My dentist did a different style because I have a lot of missing teeth. She gave me a bite plane to correct my bite first and put braces only on the bottom of my teeth. I’m on my 3rd month and it has improved massively! :)

@@atillagamercheto9132 good luck, invisalign is the best way if you can afford it, no need to visit the dentist now and then for adjustments too. They scan your teeth once and give you 10 sets of aligners to wear, then another 20 and you're done.

your doctor is incompetent. Plz take help of other doctors. Never expect that your doctor knows everything coz they don't. My mum used to always say that you aint a doctor and you know nothing coz my doctor never took interest in those thing. I changed my doccy to a proper doctor who will address this problem.
Your doctor is correct. Ur braces couldnt fix your deepbite even after 1.5yrs most likely because the root cause of ur deep bite is skeletal meaning ur mandible didnt grow sccordingly to ur maxilla. Braces dont solve issues with bone. They only move teeth and if ur deep bite is due to skeletal issues u most likely require double jaw surgery to fix it.
