Know it's been a while since a comment...However, when a drummer asks "Are you Ready?" speaks volumes on his character. Ray Luzier is definitely a role model for professionals.
I love the range of notes in thr cymbals the human ear cant normally pick out in original songs. Drum cams always give a greater appreciation drummers and drums themselves.
His resume is incredible: Freak Power Ticket w/Darren Householder, David Lee Roth for a decade (for great jamming and Diamond comedy ask him about that), Army Of Anyone with the DeLeo Bros and Richard Patrick and then, the gig chance that he had worked so hard to achieve with our beloved Bakersfield Bunch who hired him on the spot, the wise cats that they are. One might say, Ray is here to stay... Sorry, could not resist!
I am not a lover of this type of music, I don't like it at all but I have to be fair and admit that both the band and the drummer are class A+, this drummer is a creative artist as well as a painter who makes his creations, the drummer creates with everything you have within your reach is admirable, I wish you much success and years of life

@@whatsupxay we’re all entitled to our opinions. Don’t get me wrong Ray is a beast on the drums. I’ll give him being more technical than David. But that’s it. He has a hard time being on time with some of the other Korn songs. David was original, groovy and efficient. Korn is not the same without David. And that’s just a fact. But I can’t cry about it. Just the cards were dealt with
He has a role to play the korns first drummer Dave was very original. He is a different style. But fits John and the boys really well. It's only now, 30 years on when listen to their recordings. There 1 off the best bands ever.
when u get to advance level of drumming u can prob read and hear how the original drummer plays xyz song and expand on it if u want and even more advance all drumming is bassically making the floor to a song and highlighting and flareing up here and there
