- Jackie, age 9, performs Mi Mancherai at this year's community day event. This was a last minute performance for Jackie. She received a call the day before the event, asking if she would perform a 3 song set.

Jackie, my fondest wish is that you will sing _Mi Mancherai_ again, hopefully the next time you are in Pittsburgh. You are a splendid young lady!
This blows my mind for Jackie at 9 y/o to sing this beautiful song. I think she needs to sing a duet with Andrea Bocelli in Bangkok later this month of the same song, when they appear together. That would be epic. She has had an amazing career since this summer day.
There are 3 early songs that Jackie simply owns and second place isn't close: Nella Fantasia, Pie Jesu, and Mi Mancheri.
I just don't know what to say, all superlatives have been exhausted. Absolutely takes my breath away and makes me cry, just can't help it....sniff
From the very moment she first appeared on stage she was a superstar. Angelic voice breathtakingly beautiful...
I cannot get over how beautiful her voice was at this age, GOD the clarity and the power of her voice is unbelievable., I really love Jackies pre AGT stuff, it's beautiful

This is adorable and fantastic! She sings this even better later on though, Jackie keeps improving on perfection somehow year after year. Her voice is my favourite and I think the best in the world currently!
how can you compare jackie to connie,no affense by connie's voice is no where near as mature or good as jackies. An they are i think same age or connies a year younger ......

My favourite song by my favourite singer of all time. Her performance of this on "Dream with me in concert" defies belief.
I used to use the phrase " my favourite song " now I just like EVERYTHING Jackie sings so now it's "my favourite singer". I cannot stop listening to her singing because there is no one better, and never will be.
Just think...a year later she recorded that masterpiece for her greatest album; Dream With Me.
Thank you thank you JackieEvanchoOfficial! :) This is wonderful, especially for those of us who only discovered angelic Jackie and her miraculously angelic voice a year or two ago :) This performance, at age nine, is one of the proofs that, as Jackie said to ABC, "Miracles DO happen"!!! How thoughtful and perceptive some comments from five years ago are - neat that some folks found you, followed you, and loved you even before your triumphal appearances on AGT :)
Some, including myself at some stage of life would have dismissed listening to a youngster doing this type of singing but I've been a fan since the beginning and continue to search for every song she's sung. I believe she is musical genius.
that too is what i am experiencing . i dig into the youtube her singing she did in the past. i don't know why. i love her voice and all the songs she sang, regardless when . i keep going back listening to her "silent night 9 video sharpened" so beautiful!
Her voice captures the true beauty of the Music and her unique tone is sublime, there is no one that she can be compared with.
Thank you Mike and Lisa for bringing this back . It is a classic , please bring back the other song she performed at this venue. These performances highlight the greatness to come.

PS - How can a song express such sadness when it's in a major mode, not minor? I often wonder what people think hearing such beautiful music without knowing the meanings of the lyrics. I was baffled, though pleasantly dazed, at Longwood Gardens, but have since fallen in love with each song of Jackie's AWAKENING album as I learned the words :) BTW, could the words of foreign- language songs be included, with the original language and the English, with the program(s) at Jackie's concerts? Some dear folks have given us the words with some of the videos, not to mention LYRICS sites :)

Yes Jackie, your voice is definitely gaining more and more strength and definition. It's great that you have such things as community days in your location where you can share your talents while at the same time gaining the additional experience of performing to an audience. This is a very beautiful piece and you gave a terrific effort. Reach for the stars and you get lots of them from me. With quality like that and with the right approach you will go far.
