Great video!!! And what an excellent point. "Turning a negative into a positive!" Why do I repeat that? As I'm here watching your video, my wife has breast cancer that's so tough to bear YET on the positive side of it all, being able to talk to her, to see her, to nourish her, and just overall in taking care of her is priceless. Blessings and happiness to you all from you neighbor in East Texas.
Thanks Hector, that’s our motto! We’re sorry to hear about your wife and we’re praying that she makes a speedy recovery as soon as possible! We admire your positivity.
I came to find Mahi fishing tips. Clay looks so familiar, and after looking in my KGCS yearbook, I realized we went to elementary school together ! Small world ! Glad to see you’re well Clay! Keep up the good work.
Used this recipe tonight for dinner. Soooo impressed!!!! That may be the best fish meal I have ever eaten. Flavor was outstanding!! Thanks for sharing! 🥰
Your content is traffic! 65-year old fisherman from various places around the world; and, I manage to learn something each video. I encourage...I request.... you lovely young folks continue your outstanding work. It's worth the wait. Bono Fortuna!
These are real high quality vids. You are living it man a Contender and a 2300hps. I live in Islamorada and thats a killer pair for down here. Keep up the good work
The SAME situation in my house. My wife would turn a biscuit into a hockey puck. Now she can knock it out with some new recipes. If there is one positive thing to take from 2020, it’s getting to know you inner circle better, and honing our skills. You give us free pro tips regularly, so I’m gonna offer one to you for free too 😂....any chef will tell you, especially sautéing fish, that a gas range and a solid pan is key. We use USA made All-Clad pans. Cheers...my wife and I love watching you two.
Hey guys! We just moved to Tavernier in January from Kentucky. We love this place. Thanks for the tips on catching mahi. I need all the help I can get.
Favorite part about fishing.....Being Out There!!!! How true! Atlantic, Pacific, Catskill Mountain Stream, Iowa Pond..... it dont matter!!!! Its fishing - not catching. Fishing is the whole process, act, events, name it.... How true! If you approach fishng from the success being catching lots and biggins.... 'you will never be a fisherman/woman. Ever. Suck in the environment wherever you are!! Fishing wester new york streams and creeks in the 70s taught me about ecology, conservation, entymology, botany, water quality etc...... which is my living today, 50 years later!!
Life By the Bow get the gemlux with the collapsible Carbon poles they are awesome. Ya now looking at your Boat the top is smooth. Must be super close fit.
Love the 30, fantastic ridding boat when tabbed. Ive kept up with 42 hydra sports and 39 Yellowfins crossing to the Bahamas in 2-4 footers. Mind you they probably could've pinned the throttles and said goodbye but we were all running at a pretty quick cruising speed without them ever having to slow down for me.
Thats what I love about FL ! Panic everywhere meanwhile in FL everyone just keeps life normal and look NOTHING BAD HAPPENED ! What a shock huh ! Proving that you cannot outsmart a virus or stop it unless you FORCE by force people to never leave their homes !
Hey Tre the boat was previously garage kept so there was a clearance issue with radar and outrigger. Instead she’s just plane Jane. We have plans of maybe upgrading in the future so we’ve just kept her the same.

Must be nice to live this type of life style, something most regular people will never get to experience.
Hey Frankie it’s a blessing but not as unattainable as most think!

Great vid and awesome editing. Keep the videos coming
Thanks my friend will do!
Great vid ! But you need to put some outriggers on that contender !!!!!
Thanks Trevor! As she was garage kept in the past there was a clearance issue for the T top, hopefully in the future!
Life By the Bow get the gemlux with the collapsible Carbon poles they are awesome. Ya now looking at your Boat the top is smooth. Must be super close fit.
Appreciate the advice 🤙🏼it was super close had about 2 inches of clearance lol
Life By the Bow ya the rigger needs just over 8in of added height over the t-top.
Looks like an amazing day.
jpat99 it was great man, couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day.
@@LifeByTheBow You guys have any issue getting to your dock depending on the tide? Looks like it can get pretty shallow.
We’ve gotten stuck twice in the 5 years we’ve had the boat. Nothing a good ole push couldn’t fix lol
@@LifeByTheBow BTW, beautiful spread man.

Hey David we live in Tavernier.
Im looking at a 30st right now I have a 2016 25T but how do you like the ride on the 30 does it handle well in rough seas?

LOL true!
So, did you sell the Contender yet?
SOLD!
@@LifeByTheBow what year was the boat? It was gorgeous.
befmx31 2015 and appreciate it 👍🏼
Did you not like the 30st?
Yea I prefer to take the skin off with the knife, I don’t like that film that gets left behind
Agreed!
Just wandering why guys didn’t option a radar on the boat
Hey Tre the boat was previously garage kept so there was a clearance issue with radar and outrigger. Instead she’s just plane Jane. We have plans of maybe upgrading in the future so we’ve just kept her the same.
