A note, to anyone that may care: Somewhere in editing, a portion of my thoughts on "The Exorcist: Believer" were somehow lost, the entirety of the section was meant to read: "While it seems like I didn’t hate it quite as much as everyone else, it certainly was not a good movie and is obviously a huge joke in the face of the original film. Good makeup and gore, I suppose. How does this dude keep getting all this funding, though?" Additionally, my pick for #5 of the year "Prince of Darkness" was illegally claimed by its copyright owners, so I elected to trim out said section of the video, it would've read: "It’s John Carpenter, what am I supposed to say? The set and production design I thought was so great in this. My biggest complaint, I suppose, is that I think the movie could have benefited from a different score. I think this type of score that may have worked better for many films of said time period did this film a slight disservice. I think something to truly bring out the dread of the film’s goings on would have improved the experience a great deal. Something truly dark and ominous. That being said, of the apocalypse trilogy, I actually think I liked this more than in the mouth of madness, though I’d score them about the same." And finally, I somehow forgot to mention that I saw the film "Hellbender" altogether. It is a lower budget film that I enjoyed quite a bit and would certainly recommend to any fan of the genre. Thanks, everyone.
