Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). As we often say, "You've Been Warned!" Passion, energy, love for what they do. On top of that they are incredible musicians, song writers, and music arrangers. All 3 sing lead although Ale does so reluctantly (usually when Dany is sick or needs to rest her voice for a song or 2). I first heard TW a little over a year ago and was instantly captivated and down the rabbit hole. I watched a lot of their videos and watched every live stream they had during their tour. In May of last year I finally went to my first live show and I was blown away. Hearing/seeing them live has to be experienced, it can't be explained. Only band I've ever seen live that left me wanting more. 6 days after my first show I drove 12 hours to see them again. Also the only band I've ever been a fan of that doesn't have a single song I dislike or fast forward. To top it off, they are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They treat their fans like family and its reciprocated. More members of TWA will be along with lots of info. I don't usually do this on the first reaction, but I went ahead and subscribed.

Here is the rest of the story on The Warning- The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for all of about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto UA-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood) They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for an Independent Music award in 2019. They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and Muse. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Dany (guitarist) sings lead most of the time, Pau (the drummer) sings lead on a number of songs, and there are a few songs where they trade off during the song. Ale (the bassist) has sung lead on occasion, usually when Dany needs a break. There are many videos of live performances that were pro-shot, and somehow every song is great. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose to watch.
Did you check their ages? They are all Gen Z - Dany was born in 2000, (so she's the year, 23), Pau is 21, and Alé is only 18. And they have been a professional working rock group wiht 3 full length albums for many years already... If you think about how young that makes them... when they debuted their SECOND full length album, they were 13, 16 and 18 years old.... and it's a masterpiece, considered by many to be the greatest rock album in a couple decades. Their first album is also brilliant XXI Century Blood (21st century blood), and has some of their greatest songs on it that are still performed in concert, and their bassist was so young that she was playing a short scale bass guitar... she was like 10 or 11 at the time. But they were a rock group when the bassist was like 9 years old, drummer 12, and guitarist 14... which is when they started uploading videos to youtube and went viral. All were what I would consider to be child prodigies in some way, with various talents but sharing musical gifts fairly equally.
I did check their ages, that was fascinated me about them the most! Especially going back and seeing come of the covers they did when they were super young, like the cover of The Pretender. Amazing! Thanks for the comment.
The music is the hook, the lyrics are what keeps us coming back for more. Goosebumps in 20 seconds deserves a Subscription. There is a lot to know and see about this band. Here's what I suggest. Ale the bass player does not sing lead often because she does not like to. There are a number of videos though of her singing lead when Dany needs to rest her voice. Ale sometimes gets overlooked. She wrote her first song which is on their EP first when she was 9. She signed with Spector bass when she was 13. They made her her own bass when she was 15. For the last few years she has been their featured artist on their website. Her sisters call her the backbone of the band saying she has never been out of time.
Yeah I found that out!! Love the response I am getting and I am learning a lot more than I expected. She may be overlooked because she wants to sing back up, but when she sings, you can tell she has it. In their own right, any one of those ladies can lead! 🤘

Great reaction, please join us in The Warning rabbit hole! Pau is indeed their "other" lead vocalist. She's sole lead on several tracks on ERROR and, as you noticed, shares the lead on Disciple, which is actually a dialog between her character and Dany's. Pau's voice is a tad grittier and throatier than Dany's, and mic'ing her optimally when she's simultaneously beating the drums to death has to be a challenge. That said, Pau conveys emotional lyrics like nobody's business, for example on Revenant, 23, Breathe, and her Instagram cover of Creep, which she learned in just a few hours. I first saw them last year at Summerfest from a football field away, but I'd pay whatever it takes to see them in a 3,165-seat theater with good acoustics like Teatro Metropólitan in Mexico City!

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... You will want to check the music video of "disciple" also. Next, i'd suggest "enter sandman" & "animosity" from the same show. They can all sing lead. bassist prefers harmony/background and has a great voice also.

Great reaction. Yes, indeed. These young women can rock, and rock even better live than on a very good album. Looks like you might spend some time in The Warning rabbit hole. We are here to support you on that journey. I got to see them live twice last year. Once in a small club, and once on tour with Halestorm. This video is 90+% what the live experience is like. They really are that good. There are a couple more videos from this concert that have been released for "Animosity" and the reimagined "Enter Sandman" they did for the Metallica Black List album with Alessia Cara. Those would be two good next choices. They also have a really good extensive back catalog of their originals. Pick your own path on this journey. FYI, CDMX is the tetragraph designator for Cuidad de Mexico (what we English speakers call Mexico City) similar to how we in the US use NYC, MIA, or PHX.
I've always been a fan of power trios. From Cream, ZZ Top, James Gang to Rush, Triumph and Chevelle etc etc.. And it's really no coincidence when you think about it. With only 3 members, you have GOT to be able to deliver. There's no hiding behind another musician. You are on your own. These three young ladies (teen to early 20's) are already proving to the world they can hang with the best of the best. I've only recently stumbled on to their tunes, and already they are on my list of favorite rock bands of ALL time. Not one weak song. Absolutely brilliant. I haven't been so pumped for a newer band in many years. I guess I've been WARNED! :)
That is a fantastic point there. Chevelle has been one of my favorite bands for a loooonnng time and I have come to realize why. You have to deliver to get that sound that a 4-6 piece band puts together. And yes, no hiding! We have both be Warned, and I'm Stoked!

Curious what radio station you're listening to, radio coverage for them has been very spotty, at least in the US. Reactor tip: when you pause, rewind 10 seconds or so before continuing on to keep the flow of the song going. And never interrupt a guitar solo, especially for The Warning since they don't do them very often. And one last piece of advice, if you see something you like, don't be afraid to back up the video and watch it again. We're here for it. We being The Warning Army. I noticed you were impressed with the drum fill at 6:15 that Pau was singing through. That would have been a great spot to rewind and watch again, I personally still can't get enough of that sequence.
I lised to Sirius \XM Octane. That played them pretty regularly when Choke came out, but as of late, I have not heard them at all. Just glad to help bring light to this group! Thank you so much for the tips, I will improve!! ! 🤘

They stepped on stage for the first time in 2012. Alejandra Villarreal was 7 years old and doing a decent job on the bass, too. 🤯 They became The Warning in 2013. When I'm Alone was actually a homework assignment when they were at the 5-week summer program at Berklee (in Boston) in 2015. They were assigned to write a song, and Dany was drawing a blank. She was feeling very homesick, as this was the longest they had been away from home, and inspiration struck. She sounded particularly inspired playing it in Boston (my first TW concert; I saw them again opening for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm a few months later).

You better buckle up because you’re just scratching the surface. These ladies and their story is nothing short of amazing. You mentioned Lzzy Hale, they toured with Halestorm this past summer and Lzzy liked them so much she had Gibson create an Explorer model guitar just for Dany and surprised her onstage with it in the middle of their set. They are the real deal and their catalog is deep and impressive considering how young they are. They have NO bad songs and you’re going to have the time of your life discovering them.

Fun Facts: their roots are classical piano, their parents listened to classic rock and watched rock concerts on disc, Dany and Pau got the game Rock Band and fell in love with rock (Ale was too young), they eventually picked the guitar and drums on their own (Ale was still too young), Ale eventually chose bass, one day they discovered they could play together and the rest is history. Oh, Rock Band ended up including two of their original songs IN the game. They don’t have a throw away song. You’re going to love discovering just how amazing they are as artists and as people. Didn't take me long to get Warned either. They are everything I missed about Rock. I hadn't listened to Rock in many years, and they made me excited again. I would suggest you check out their brilliant Concept Album "Queen of the Murder Scene". The first track is "Dust to Dust" and the Drummer takes lead on that one. You can find it live on Lunario and all songs on the Album are on UA-cam live at Lunario. Glad you found this Band. You won't regret it. They are fantastic live. Not only that, but you should check out the video that started it all for them . In 2014 they put out their cover of Enter Sandman in their home studio. It's a must see.

Went to see Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless last summer, having never heard of the opening band, The Warning. By the end of their first song, was an absolute fan. Immediately bought tickets to see them again at a Fall Rock Festival and made it to the first row, right in front of Ale. They are an amazing live band. Lzzy Hale was right when she said these young ladies are the future!
That is one concert I wish I had seen. I understand it was during that tour, in Texas, where Lzzy has a Gibson custom made and gifted to it Dani! What a great show of honor and respect. They are indeed the future and I am here for it!

i just never get tired of listening reactors' first reactions to The Warning, I know The Warning Army is going to give you a lot to read, I just want to give you my personal thoughts and recommendations. 1. I love the warning because they are original and it doesn't matter what song you listen you'll know it's them playing and not all bands can do that. 2. I really love their parents because they have raised their girls like no other parents in this industry. 3. You need to listen the Ted Talk they did @ University of Nevada, this will help you understand why they have reach our hearts. (it is a 3 songs and a little talk between songs in about 19 minutes video) 4. As it was mentioned all over the comments, their 3rd album is a master piece, but it is not only an album, it is a concept album written down by teenage girls talking masterfully about love, obsession, murder and suicide, I know, it sounds creepy but english been my second language i can find the words to describe its beauty ( this is the only album by "The Warning" that i recommend to be listened in order and pay atention to the lirycs. Metropolitan Theater, Mexico City They did two sold out shows on the 26th and 29th of August last year of over 1-1/2 hours each. There are professionally recorded videos of the songs that they are releasing to the general public a little at a time. The guitar player sings most of their songs but the drummer also sings lead on some. If Dany needs to take a break Ale, the bass player, will take lead on some songs. They toured with Halestorm last summer and the bands really did well together. In fact, Lzzy Hale was so impressed that she had a custom Explorer guitar made that she presented to Dany mid set. Arejay got into the act by playing drums on a The Warning song at a couple of venues which let the drummer come out front and dominate the stage. There have been songs in their back catalog of nearly 50 songs where keys are featured. Pau can pull the emotion out when she comes out and plays keys while singing as with the songs Black Holes and Show me the Light.

You said it correctly, Dane, the 3 Villarreal sisters are excellent on their instruments and sing very well. Daniela is a wonderful frontwoman, but Paulina, the drummer, also leads on some songs as lead vocals while she plays energetically on drums (very remarkable). In this song, Daniela and Paulina take turns on the main voice. The bassist Alejandra is also a good singer, and she comes to replace Daniela when she doesn't feel well or needs rest. However, she doesn't like being the main voice. Greetings from México.

So many recommendations I could make but seriously you just can't go wrong with whatever you pick from them. Last thing I will say is that this is a must see live band. They toured with Halestorm all last summer. In the middle of their set one night, Lizzie gifted Dany with a custom Gibson Explorer guitar right on stage. There is a great video of it. This is why I like to experience bands live, to see if they are legit. I am glad that I was able to discover them during a live performance, and now I know the expectation is better than an album recording. You can feel the energy. You do not get that through a music video. 🤘

Hi Dane! This is a great song to "Be Warned" by. haha. Dany and Pau both sing lead, but usually Dany. To say they are a great live band is a total understatement. I was able to see them 3 times in 2021 and I cannot describe how good they are. I am seeing them again in May! I have been going to Rock concerts for 40+ years and seen a lot of the greats, and I have never been to a better or more FUN show than The Warning. All of their original music as fantastic. In fact their second Album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album that tells a dark story. They produced it before the oldest even turned 19 and the youngest was still 13! And it is a modern rock MASTERPIECE! They are gifted songwriters, composers, arrangers, and musicians. Their vocals and harmonies are superb no matter which sister is singing. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful. They seamlessly mix decades and subgenres of rock together in to a familiar, yet fresh package. And every song is a catchy earworm. Their music is infectious! I have never been so enamored with a band in my life! I have had the privilege of meeting them, their parents and their manager in person. You will never meet a nicer family in your life. These sisters carry themselves with class and don't sexualize themselves or use gimmicks to gain popularity. They work very VERY hard at their craft and their passion for music flows out of them. They love and appreciate their fans and the fans give it all right back. Their live shows are like a big party and the wall between the crowd and the band does not exist with them. I was stoked to find it because I went in and was going to cover Animosity, but this one just released on their channel, so naturally..........! I cannot not wait to see them live. Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). As we often say, "You've Been Warned!" Passion, energy, love for what they do. On top of that they are incredible musicians, song writers, and music arrangers. All 3 sing lead although Ale does so reluctantly (usually when Dany is sick or needs to rest her voice for a song or 2). I first heard TW a little over a year ago and was instantly captivated and down the rabbit hole. I watched a lot of their videos and watched every live stream they had during their tour. In May of last year I finally went to my first live show and I was blown away. Hearing/seeing them live has to be experienced, it can't be explained. Only band I've ever seen live that left me wanting more. 6 days after my first show I drove 12 hours to see them again. Also the only band I've ever been a fan of that doesn't have a single song I dislike or fast forward. To top it off, they are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They treat their fans like family and its reciprocated. More members of TWA will be along with lots of info. I don't usually do this on the first reaction, but I went ahead and subscribed.

Here is the rest of the story on The Warning- The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for all of about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed.
Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto UA-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood)
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for an Independent Music award in 2019.
They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and Muse.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Dany (guitarist) sings lead most of the time, Pau (the drummer) sings lead on a number of songs, and there are a few songs where they trade off during the song. Ale (the bassist) has sung lead on occasion, usually when Dany needs a break. There are many videos of live performances that were pro-shot, and somehow every song is great. You can't go wrong no matter what you choose to watch.

Did you check their ages? They are all Gen Z - Dany was born in 2000, (so she's the year, 23), Pau is 21, and Alé is only 18. And they have been a professional working rock group wiht 3 full length albums for many years already... If you think about how young that makes them... when they debuted their SECOND full length album, they were 13, 16 and 18 years old.... and it's a masterpiece, considered by many to be the greatest rock album in a couple decades. Their first album is also brilliant XXI Century Blood (21st century blood), and has some of their greatest songs on it that are still performed in concert, and their bassist was so young that she was playing a short scale bass guitar... she was like 10 or 11 at the time. But they were a rock group when the bassist was like 9 years old, drummer 12, and guitarist 14... which is when they started uploading videos to youtube and went viral. All were what I would consider to be child prodigies in some way, with various talents but sharing musical gifts fairly equally.
No lies told. Their 2nd full length album is a masterpiece matched by few over decades span.

Ale the bass player does not sing lead often because she does not like to. There are a number of videos though of her singing lead when Dany needs to rest her voice. Ale sometimes gets overlooked. She wrote her first song which is on their EP first when she was 9. She signed with Spector bass when she was 13. They made her her own bass when she was 15. For the last few years she has been their featured artist on their website. Her sisters call her the backbone of the band saying she has never been out of time.

She's sole lead on several tracks on ERROR and, as you noticed, shares the lead on Disciple, which is actually a dialog between her character and Dany's. Pau's voice is a tad grittier and throatier than Dany's, and mic'ing her optimally when she's simultaneously beating the drums to death has to be a challenge. That said, Pau conveys emotional lyrics like nobody's business, for example on Revenant, 23, Breathe, and her Instagram cover of Creep, which she learned in just a few hours. I first saw them last year at Summerfest from a football field away, but I'd pay whatever it takes to see them in a 3,165-seat theater with good acoustics like Teatro Metropólitan in Mexico City!

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...

On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date.
Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. You will want to check the music video of "disciple" also. Next, i'd suggest "enter sandman" & "animosity" from the same show. They can all sing lead. bassist prefers harmony/background and has a great voice also.

Great reaction. Yes, indeed. These young women can rock, and rock even better live than on a very good album. Looks like you might spend some time in The Warning rabbit hole. We are here to support you on that journey. I got to see them live twice last year. Once in a small club, and once on tour with Halestorm. This video is 90+% what the live experience is like. They really are that good.
There are a couple more videos from this concert that have been released for "Animosity" and the reimagined "Enter Sandman" they did for the Metallica Black List album with Alessia Cara. Those would be two good next choices. They also have a really good extensive back catalog of their originals. Pick your own path on this journey.

That is a fantastic point there. Chevelle has been one of my favorite bands for a loooonnng time and I have come to realize why. You have to deliver to get that sound that a 4-6 piece band puts together. And yes, no hiding! We have both be Warned, and I'm Stoked!

Curious what radio station you're listening to, radio coverage for them has been very spotty, at least in the US. Reactor tip: when you pause, rewind 10 seconds or so before continuing on to keep the flow of the song going. And never interrupt a guitar solo, especially for The Warning since they don't do them very often. And one last piece of advice, if you see something you like, don't be afraid to back up the video and watch it again. We're here for it. We being The Warning Army. I noticed you were impressed with the drum fill at 6:15 that Pau was singing through. That would have been a great spot to rewind and watch again, I personally still can't get enough of that sequence.
I lised to Sirius \XM Octane. That played them pretty regularly when Choke came out, but as of late, I have not heard them at all. Just glad to help bring light to this group! Thank you so much for the tips, I will improve!! ! 🤘

When I'm Alone was actually a homework assignment when they were at the 5-week summer program at Berklee (in Boston) in 2015. They were assigned to write a song, and Dany was drawing a blank. She was feeling very homesick, as this was the longest they had been away from home, and inspiration struck. She sounded particularly inspired playing it in Boston (my first TW concert; I saw them again opening for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm a few months later).

You better buckle up because you’re just scratching the surface. These ladies and their story is nothing short of amazing. You mentioned Lzzy Hale, they toured with Halestorm this past summer and Lzzy liked them so much she had Gibson create an Explorer model guitar just for Dany and surprised her onstage with it in the middle of their set. They are the real deal and their catalog is deep and impressive considering how young they are. They have NO bad songs and you’re going to have the time of your life discovering them.
Seatbelt is fastened. This is one ride I can not wait for, this has to be my favorite group (TWA) to be a apart of. Truly. -Yeah I heard that was during "Enter Sandman" I believe, that is first on my most requested videos to watch next! 🤘🏻

5:10 “Look at that!” Yes, they are special. They LOVE to be out performing and are always passionate performers whether it’s a crowd of 50, 5000, or 50,000. You have truly been Warned. Fun Facts: their roots are classical piano, their parents listened to classic rock and watched rock concerts on disc, Dany and Pau got the game Rock Band and fell in love with rock (Ale was too young), they eventually picked the guitar and drums on their own (Ale was still too young), Ale eventually chose bass, one day they discovered they could play together and the rest is history. Oh, Rock Band ended up including two of their original songs IN the game.
They don’t have a throw away song. You’re going to love discovering just how amazing they are as artists and as people.

Didn't take me long to get Warned either. They are everything I missed about Rock. I hadn't listened to Rock in many years, and they made me excited again. I would suggest you check out their brilliant Concept Album "Queen of the Murder Scene". The first track is "Dust to Dust" and the Drummer takes lead on that one. You can find it live on Lunario and all songs on the Album are on UA-cam live at Lunario. Glad you found this Band. You won't regret it. They are fantastic live. Not only that, but you should check out the video that started it all for them . In 2014 they put out their cover of Enter Sandman in their home studio. It's a must see.

Went to see Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless last summer, having never heard of the opening band, The Warning. By the end of their first song, was an absolute fan. Immediately bought tickets to see them again at a Fall Rock Festival and made it to the first row, right in front of Ale. They are an amazing live band. Lzzy Hale was right when she said these young ladies are the future!
That is one concert I wish I had seen. I understand it was during that tour, in Texas, where Lzzy has a Gibson custom made and gifted to it Dani! What a great show of honor and respect. They are indeed the future and I am here for it!

i just never get tired of listening reactors' first reactions to The Warning, I know The Warning Army is going to give you a lot to read, I just want to give you my personal thoughts and recommendations.
1. I love the warning because they are original and it doesn't matter what song you listen you'll know it's them playing and not all bands can do that.
2. I really love their parents because they have raised their girls like no other parents in this industry.
3. You need to listen the Ted Talk they did @ University of Nevada, this will help you understand why they have reach our hearts. (it is a 3 songs and a little talk between songs in about 19 minutes video)
4. As it was mentioned all over the comments, their 3rd album is a master piece, but it is not only an album, it is a concept album written down by teenage girls talking masterfully about love, obsession, murder and suicide, I know, it sounds creepy but english been my second language i can find the words to describe its beauty ( this is the only album by "The Warning" that i recommend to be listened in order and pay atention to the lirycs.

Metropolitan Theater, Mexico City
They did two sold out shows on the 26th and 29th of August last year of over 1-1/2 hours each. There are professionally recorded videos of the songs that they are releasing to the general public a little at a time.
The guitar player sings most of their songs but the drummer also sings lead on some. If Dany needs to take a break Ale, the bass player, will take lead on some songs.
They toured with Halestorm last summer and the bands really did well together. In fact, Lzzy Hale was so impressed that she had a custom Explorer guitar made that she presented to Dany mid set. Arejay got into the act by playing drums on a The Warning song at a couple of venues which let the drummer come out front and dominate the stage.
There have been songs in their back catalog of nearly 50 songs where keys are featured. Pau can pull the emotion out when she comes out and plays keys while singing as with the songs Black Holes and Show me the Light.
I heard, I am stoked for them! I'm learning so much already with all these comments, thanks so much for providing more info for me! Have a lot to go on now and I'll be doing more about TW.
You said it correctly, Dane, the 3 Villarreal sisters are excellent on their instruments and sing very well. Daniela is a wonderful frontwoman, but Paulina, the drummer, also leads on some songs as lead vocals while she plays energetically on drums (very remarkable). In this song, Daniela and Paulina take turns on the main voice.
The bassist Alejandra is also a good singer, and she comes to replace Daniela when she doesn't feel well or needs rest. However, she doesn't like being the main voice.

Hi Dane! This is a great song to "Be Warned" by. haha. Dany and Pau both sing lead, but usually Dany. To say they are a great live band is a total understatement. I was able to see them 3 times in 2021 and I cannot describe how good they are. I am seeing them again in May! I have been going to Rock concerts for 40+ years and seen a lot of the greats, and I have never been to a better or more FUN show than The Warning. All of their original music as fantastic. In fact their second Album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album that tells a dark story. They produced it before the oldest even turned 19 and the youngest was still 13! And it is a modern rock MASTERPIECE! They are gifted songwriters, composers, arrangers, and musicians. Their vocals and harmonies are superb no matter which sister is singing. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful. They seamlessly mix decades and subgenres of rock together in to a familiar, yet fresh package. And every song is a catchy earworm. Their music is infectious!
I have never been so enamored with a band in my life! I have had the privilege of meeting them, their parents and their manager in person. You will never meet a nicer family in your life. These sisters carry themselves with class and don't sexualize themselves or use gimmicks to gain popularity. They work very VERY hard at their craft and their passion for music flows out of them.
They love and appreciate their fans and the fans give it all right back. Their live shows are like a big party and the wall between the crowd and the band does not exist with them. I am sure you will learn much more about them from all the fans. I'm sure you will enjoy this journey of discovery of this deep and wide rabbit hole. These sisters are Future Legends for sure!!

I was stoked to find it because I went in and was going to cover Animosity, but this one just released on their channel, so naturally..........! I cannot not wait to see them live. I'll have to upload some shorts when I do. I wish I could find Queen of the Murder Scene on vinyl. But I have Spotify so that will do, however, I know being it’s a story in the making, listed to it in order. Been "Warned" about that one a few times! More to come for sure!
