@@LettersEFmaybe someday - someday you may return back to the superior membrane keyboard! With the hallow spacebar and extra clackiness alas gaming razer board style 🤤
Sounds pretty similar yeah, goy my first prebuilt keyboard around a week ago, i do not know anything related to this "hobby" but i saw a couple videos on modding and whatnot. I did had to open up because of somebluetooth/2.4ghz connectivity issue, sent a video and such to the company, they sent me a new PCBA board and proposed to me two sets of switches on their website, i even had a partial refund, received quite a lot for my first board. I already had bought it with a 10% board. Put a foam inside (no tape mod since i think that's unnecessary when you put a foam inside the case anyway. Plus there is already a gasket + silicone in the board somewhere too, sounds very 'thocky'. I don't care too much about the sound though, it just feels pretty satisfying to type. It's a plastic case which i wanted since i need it to be lightweight (it's still heavy though) and in the ISO layout as well which is hard to find since most boards are in the ANSI layout. I'm all set i think?
@@LettersEF my comment is old as shit now. I did tape mod it whike replacing the PCBA board. I also got two sets of switches of my choosing. Chose the penguin silent switches (tactile) they're literally insane with the spacebar. You'd be surprised
They all sound like foam
You're correct I do install the foams and prefer the marbly sound signature it makes :) at least for now. Thanks!

Yeah not a fan of tape sounds either its never necessary unless you have a plastic board that sounds super hollow
