I will never understand. They had the opportunity to build something beautiful, starting anew. A central train station for Berlin. Instead they designed and built this disgusting tribute to shopping malls and vertigo. Not a welcoming crevice or corner in the place. 8n fact,, it's designed to keep people moving. They tore down the Soviet Palace of the Republic because it was the ugliest building on earth. But then they built this hideous structure.

Yes, this station is a main railway terminal. There are several levels, it's very interested architectural structure.
In Berlin, we have much fewer trains than in other German city, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt have a lot of different types of trains
