Wow! No hookups since June or July!? I’m so over boondocking after about 60 Walmarts and a million miscellaneous. I’ve been KOAing all over the place. Great vid, girl!
In Seattle we are getting ready for snow, which as you know means none or lots! Stay safe out there!
We never travel in high winds or rain with our rambulance. Our house has wheels so we find better weather. You are so wise to avoid the storms and cold. We have been on the road since 2016 and got caught in one heck of a storm in 2016 and said never again. Be safe on your travels.

You have my full support re. hair color. I'm old enough to be your mom and just let my "blond" grow off to gray. Ugh! When I get a glimpse of myself in daylight I shudder. Since I suffered through the grow out period I'm leaving it for a few months before I re-blond. I may go red this time. That ought to trigger my daughter.😄
Good for you Amber! Wear your hair how you like. I was born with red hair, was teased tormented and bullied as a child for my hair. As I grew older and started to like it, it turned white. Now I am back to my natural red and will probably die that way! Love my hair.

Great video it's great to have friends. I used to have 2 friends or so I thought but one conned me out of money. And when I told the other one I couldn't look after her son as my partner was in hospital after having a stroke she didn't talk to me no more. So I don't have friends now as I don't trust them at all xx

I live in Knoxville, and I believe you had a thumbnail talking about the bad weather coming I really didn't pay attention to the date I don't think but I did go out and take my pretty ceramics water pot and tea kettle off of the little flimsy holding nail. Oh I am so glad I listened to that thumbnail, because I'm did you know the storm took the last piece of our ridge off the top of our roof. I got slow mo for a husband. It's nice it's like having a skylight in the bathroom. But boy it blew the cedar tree that's in a pot off halfway down the steps so lucky thing my sheets I had out drip drying by that time they had dried by just the wind alone hey boy it has been rough now it's 4:51 I don't hear the pressure pounding at the door and the uplift and oh oh all that so thank you story lady. For giving me a heads up cuz my husband didn't believe it boy, was he ever mistaken

Home Sweet Cracker Barrel! Bring on the hashbrown casserole! Can you tell hasbrown casserole is my favorite thing at Cracker Barrel? Chattanooga is a cool town! My little sister lives there. She's a NICU nurse at the children's hospital there. She is getting ready to buy a sprinter van to build out because she's going into travel nursing. She's 30 years younger than me and we both have the same dream which I think is funny! Our Dad doesn't think so. We both want to buy a sprinter van and have it built out into a camper van. Basically, we want to be you Amber when we grow up! Glad you out ran the hurricane! We didn't get much rain and wind on Hilton Head, but it defintely brought us cold weather. It was in the 40s & 50s here which is very cold for us this time of year. That's more like our January weather. I love Walmart pick up too! I never did it before lockdown, but I do it every week now. Love it! I love your hair now! I think it looks great! My gray did the same thing. I looked like a skunk with a big ole white streak down my hair. lol

Way to be flexible around the weather!! Since we're currently stationary in our RV, we cannot be nimble...but we are learning a lot and getting more comfortable over time!!
All my childhood I was living with the fear of cyclones. The prepping and the making sure everything was nailed down and was able to fly away. As an adult I have chosen to live in an area far away from cyclones. Till now. Given the difference in the way and the force that cyclones now are generating.. They are now crossing mountain ranges.When I say mountains.. I mean mountains in Australia. Not like you find in the US. lol Mind you I don't think cyclones don't come with the same intensity as a hurricane. Take care. Safe travels.

I am glad you were able to hear the storm. Where was that Buc-ee's at? Our normal place to go when we leave town for hurricanes is Chattanooga. We really like it there. For hurricane Ian we went west due to the tracking of Ian. We stayed in that campground in Tallahassee leaving Florida and coming home. We have even stayed the night in that Bass Pro Shop parking lot one time. Next time you are in the area there is a restaurant called Ted's Montana Grill that is to die for. I can't recommend it enough. We are back home now in south west Florida. Safe travels.
On leaving for Nichole we were planning to go to Alabama, but a blowout on I-10 kept us in Marianna Florida. What a story that was. Lol!!!
When you go back to Chattanooga to the Chattanooga Choo Choo Place very nice there.

I did 2 or 3 test grow outs before being happy with the way the gray was coming in. Now I love it because it’s coming in evenly instead of in patches. You do you!

That looks so relaxing with your friend in the RV park. There's no one around OMG. I'm living in a tourist trap in west Maui, Hawai'i, where you really can't seem to get away from people! I have a grandson stationed in Pensacola, Florida on the Naval Base there, about 3 hours from Tallahassee. He said it's cold there.

I'm curious as to what the RV park was in Florida. Can you share that? I'm thinking you post the videos a week or two after they are filmed. What hurricane were you trying to outpace? Was it the one after Ian? And, so many questions I know, but I assume you will be storing your van before you travel to Europe. Can you talk a little bit about that process?

Regarding your hair. I did the same thing. I started going grey and realized the back didn't have as much grey as the front and I didn't like the look...I went back to highlighting!!!

Amber, I actually like Chattanooga a lot. Hope you get to go back when the weather is better. The RV park where you met up with Kathy looks amazing! Also, gas has been under $3 for a while in Denver. I think I paid $2.85 the last time I filled up. :)
oh same thing sister!!! I feel like a skunk with my gray. If I could go get it all died gray and it would stay - I would do it.... but alas then I will have the opposite issue. So mine is brown. Someday it will all turn gray. By the way - loving seeing you exploring everywhere in TN!!!

It looks great. And I just did the same thing. And not sure I like mine. I will try it for a week and see if I get use to it. My hair has always been blonde or very light. Now I have a lot of the light in front and sides. And drawer in the back. So like you I might go back to all blonde. Am 72 so it is hard to decide on the blonde all over. But am looking for the best fix. But you look so young and the brown is very pretty on you. It is all about how you feel, so do want you feel best .

I can’t say in other states but in Florida it is illegal to drive with your flashers on.
Actually in 2021 there were changes made in FL and you can use your flashers in certain conditions. Youve always been able to use flashers as a way to warn those behind you that can’t see over or around you that traffic is slowing in front. That’s why I used my flashers.

I know that you have a delay in your posts so I have no idea where you are now, but this is the start of the best weather in Florida (except for this last week) all year, until about March- so welcome back! I did notice your odometer on the Hymer in this video only shows 86k? How is that possible? I've often wondered how many miles you've logged. I evacuated Tampa for Hurricane Ian to the Charlotte, NC and northern SC areas- I really like that region and would love to relocate there. Hurricane Nicole wasn't that bad in Tampa, but windy. I saw your video on Asheville, and I went there for what was supposed to be two days, but parking was so bad I only stayed one day- not worthy of further consideration. I'm looking for forested areas of the country to live in, using Google Earth to identify them. I did want to mention your Bluetti "storychasing" code comes up as "invalid" but it may be due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotions they are running. Have fun in Portugal- lot's of people from the states are moving there! BGTY!
