  • When you're shooting photos at a place like Walt Disney World, you have to keep your eyes open. Not just on the view finder, but also for what is happening behind and around you. Otherwise you may catch some things in your photos that you don't really want in them, such as...
A behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there's lots of stories to tell. Here is some of them...
Not only did I work in theme parks for 10 years, I've visited a whole lot of them as well. Here's some stories of great visits, not so great visits, favorites, reviews, and much more.

Your absolutely right time to sit back relax and have some genuine warm laughs maybe even choke back a tear or two, I never see it coming when the narrative will switch from light hearted whimsy to heartfelt sincere sorrow all the while mixed with endless guest's causing irritating frustrations for all lol.
I love this channel I take each upload like a personal hang out with a relatable ex park worker who's just shooting the breeze

It would never crossed my mind to check behind the people you’re taking pictures of. Wow! You really have to be alert! So important. Thank You for this interesting video! 😊🙏

Unexpected things? One of the pictures my dad took of an empty building in Savannah ended up revealing a ghost. :) Thank you for all of the things you post and the hints you give photographers. Enjoy your trip this week.

I'm always the oblivious one that walls in front of the camera without realizing it. Sorry😊

Watch the background for rude gestures. I'm planning on my first Cedar Point trip this summer and that is solid advice when I start taking photos.

I was shooting the arrival of the train at Swanbank Station on the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway in 2018 and these two guys pulled this really weird dance move as if they thought they could duck under my shot at that range.
The distance was such that I would have to be shooting a laser beam in order to not get them both in the frame.

I was at a PAX East convention and I saw a family sitting at a table. They had two kids who couldn't have been older than 5-6, one was dressed as Mega Man and the other was dressed as Link. It was so cute, I asked the parents if I could have a picture of their kids. Of course, the parents were thrilled and got the kids set and posed. It's an adorable picture, the parents asked me to send them a copy once I got home that night. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home and looked at the photo on my computer screen that I noticed that there was a Deadpool cosplayer photobombing the picture. It wasn't obscene and I understand the character, but how rude can you get making a stupid pose in the background of a photo of two children?

I love Silver Dollar City. It’s like my second home. lol I have a quick question which you may or may not know. Do you know if SDC is ever planning on bringing back pork rinds? Ever since the building burned down it’s been a missing staple that’s been made at the park since forever.

I do a lot of Event Photography especially at Anime cons, Comic cons, and Furry conventions. Learned the hard way a few pictures of having to keep constant eye on backgrounds

Not only can you not get the “Aerosmith” name in a PhotoPass photo, but you cannot take a photo of the guitar. The guitar shape is trademarked as well.

Heres a good question im not sure was ever brought up. All your time spent taking photos for a honest living did you ever capture something in the background paranormal like that couldnt readily be explained like orbs etc?

How often did any sort of background distraction happen? Was it very rare?

I wonder if AI could help these days? Something like you tell it who doesn't belong is a photo and it would erase the person with the background.
