I would love to see you dive deeper into Profile/Level/Preset settings. How do those settings impact the stream by adjusting them? Does the stream quality improve by setting the Profile from "baseline" to "High" or change "Preset" from "veryfast" to "slow"?
I have been using vMix for event streaming for over a year and I thank you for such complete and versatile software. However, I also use vMix to record my tutorials and I would need to record the output audio coming from software like Davinci Resolve or in any case that send the output to the normal computer output. In this case, how do I insert this audio into vMix to be able to record it? Do I have to use virtual cables or are there other easier ways? I am still learning a lot, for me it is essential that you give support to those who are new to your software also because I think they are users who use vMix for work. Thanks (PS: I have done some tutorials and reviews dedicated to vMix too).
Hello, I have version 27 but every time I transmit I get a yellow UA-cam sign with this message. The current bit rate of the transmission is less than the recommended value... I have more than 1000 mb upload and 1000 mb download I tried in various configurations but in the live I get that message during the transmission
You will be chasing this forever with UA-cam. It's either too low or too high. The dreaded yellow line. Just ignore it and it will go away. It generally doesn't affect the stream. It does it with OBS as well.
It would be great to have a bitrate meter down the bottom like the cpu monitor to monitor the bitrate. I know there is a streaming status box but a simple number would be handy.
Here's a guide from a few years back, but it still works. It's just a matter of logging into your Twitch account and then you'll be able to start streaming from vMix www.vmix.com/knowledgebase/article.aspx/71/streaming-to-twitch
