Challenge ideas: pick only one original starter Pokemon from every regional Pokemon pick your best Pokemon but you cannot pick what your opponent choose
I think you guys should include a rule that moves that absolutely can't be used in battle should be replaced (like Aura Wheel that doesnt work outside of Morpeko), since it makes the pokemon actually have just 3 moves instead of 4 (not talking about bad moves, just moves that are 100% unusable)
Not using Toxic spikes the hole game is what killed Chilln
Trouble is, Toxtricity would just clean them up, and Corviknight struggles defensively against an Electric team

It’s always best to set up the spikes, and then switch into a damage dealing pokemon to do insane damage to toxi so at least you don’t waste a turn and get in a free hit.

You just did a type team challenge like this, but that's more than ok. Is such a great challenge idea. You could keep doing it until you each crossed off every type on the list.
That could require alot of thinking. Like what types do you want to save for last and what types are going to be picked that they saved. There really could be alot to keep up with lol and then the final 2!

Its crazy that Quick didn't take advantage of the Soak/Thunderbolt combo on Rotom Wash. I know its pretty rare in these videos for them to have combos like that, but it seems like when they do, they don't use them.
Quick just disregarding Bolt Beak on of the fastest Pokemon got me. Even if Jolteon is a special attacker, 170 base power before STAB is still insane.
QuickGG getting Steel counter moves on almost every catch has me dying haha, this is gonna be good

Did... Did quick really just say "fairy type is mot strong enough?" I- fairy type? The type that is the most broken type in competative? The one that shook up the entire type chart? The one that turned dragon types from OP to just decent? That type?

The type is busted, but the Pokémon aren’t. A few are sure, but you’d mostly end up with stuff like slurpuff, aromatisse and kelfki. Maybe a comfey to spice things up depending on the game they play in.

@@johnsgoodboyBut Klefki without Prankster and with random moves kinda sucks. That's the thing about these random abilities and movesets, some Pokemon that are usually good become terrible and some that aren't good can become great.
Most Fairy types don't really have great stats, but a lot that were used competitively have the right abilities and movesets to work with their stats.
@15KMH most pokemon don't have great stats, period. klefki without prankster isnt great, true, but fairy is the strongest type (except maybe steel) because its matchups are so good, not because fairy types have good moves and abilities.

He said no electric Psuedo. Mythical and Psuedos are very different. There are multiple electric mythicals, one of which was even in the battle.

If you don't play competitively, fairy type is not all that strong. And these guys certainly don't play competitive.
Context is important. There are not that many strong Fairy type moves, relative to the Fairy move pool. So, it definitely messes with a randomized movepool, same as Psychic.
@@davidharshman7645also, while the type is very good, most mons within that type aren't. Just a bunch of fairly weak specially defensive mons, the legendary/mythicals and a very good keychain boi

Becoming Nimble from autotomize basically means that the pokemon is now lighter (weight). That's mainly an irrelevant statistic, except for moves that care about the pomemon's weight - such as Heat Crash, Low Kick, and Grass Knot.

I'd love to see another Pokemon trading card game challenge. With the new set coming out, you could each buy 3 or 4 packs. You can use any 6 Pokemon you get from those packs.
But this would have to be a scarlet/violet video.

So heres a challenge, you guys are going into the wild and take turns to pick 1 pokemon each turn. So if player1 chooses first then the next turn player2 can base their pick on the other persons pick. And idk cuz its random moves and shit maybe throw in a skip or 2
Vid Idea: Counter Tactics
1. Catch ANY 3 pokemon
2. Show each other what was caught. Moves and all
3. Go out and catch ANY 3 more pokemon to either Counter, or even just Overpower what you saw from the other.
4. Battle!
Can add whatever else to vid to make either easier. Ie. Timer, wheel, ball, overworld/random.
I kinda miss the OG pokemon showdown videos yall used to do. I love that yall can randomize and stuff now but yall should definitely do a throw back pokemon showdown video!!!

How about a type randomizer. Make a wheel of all types. After u choose and battle that type they are permanently gone. Would make a great series to see how adaptable you are. Once u run out u lose the series

Roll a D10/ Spin a Wheel
Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).
Overworld encounter
Random Pokémon
Random abilities
Fully evolved
3 skips
Roll 10 sided die/ spin wheel with 10 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

Idea: Roll a dice and the correspondent number that it lands on requires you to capture a Pokémon with that Base Stat number eg roll 1 have to capture a 100/201 base stat Pokémon. Roll 2 capture 201/301 base stat and so on 6 is anything 601+. Allow 2 skips

Not using Corviknight first and dropping the Toxic Spikes is crazy. Using Not Very Effective moves over Neutral is also kinda crazy 😢

Day 15: One of you catches 12 random Pokemon and decides which team each one is on. The other one uses the Move Relearner to decide the movesets of all 12 Pokemon *without knowing whose team they go to*
Think about it, you could let your opponent sabotage a Legendary with terrible moves, only to find out they got it instead.
I have been Years and years and years and the fact that the question is escadrille better than Stelix I don’t know if he is or not. I think Stelix might be better is the type of thing I’m hearing right now, somehow doesn’t surprise me. You both get 12 random encounters with random movesets and abilities for each other, then you do 6 rounds of would you rather have a Pokemon A or a Pokemon B, of your choice.
Like this you can trick the opponent by making them make the choices they have to make 🤓
I’ve been watching the buddies since the beginning so I know they don’t really care to set up, but GG had Soak, and two electric moves on his Rotom. Which is perfect. But then he didn’t even bother with it whatsoever which is still crazy to me lol
You should do this again but each time previous types are off the board so next time can’t do electric or steel and so on

Whatever it lands on, you take that gym leader’s ace Pokemon
Do it ten times
Build your team. You can choose whether to randomize move sets and abilities or if you will make competitive teams

Challenge: randomly encounter or if you see it must catch it- if it has a bigger head then body (at least torso) you have to catch them. Catch 8 and choose 6 to fight. Legends allowed no skip😂😅
How about this twist: Players are presented with three Pokémon options without knowing what they are. Each player takes turns selecting one of the options to keep, skip, or give to their opponent. The catch is that the player giving the Pokémon doesn't know what it is either, adding an extra layer of mystery and strategy to the game. Players must use their intuition and knowledge of Pokémon types to make the best choices while also trying to outsmart their opponent.
I got a great challenge. You guys both have three random starters, choice lock, but rock paper scissors decides who gets to choose. So if chillin wins and picks middle quick must take middle as well.

You guys should do one where you go around and catch one pokemon of EACH type (the first you see obviously) and once all types have been checked off you pick the best 6.

How about a rock paper scissors challenge . Find overworld encounters you and the Pokemon play rock paper scissors and if you win you get to caught that Pokemon

Dear ChillnPlay doubling the speed stat of a Pokémon with base 20 speed only makes you 40 still superrrr slow
I feel like Normalize shoul be a abilty you can abilty capsule/patch. It does nothing but makes a Pokémon practically useless
Here is an idea. Spin a wheel for type of pokemon you see first. For every spin you remove that type from the wheel and if you catch a dual type you remove both types from the wheel. Your allowed 3 skips and you get 1 pokemon of your choice that is not a legendary/mythical or psuedo and this one does not have to follow the type spins. You can also change a total 2 moves for your entire team if needed

Each of you catch 10 random mons , then you pool them all 20 and choose a team of 6 alternately ( so each of you only know moves sets of the 10 you caught and not of other 10)

Trying to boost Escavaliers speed was literally pointless, he has 20 base speed, even maxed out he will still get outsped by other Pokemon.
Video idea: you each spin a wheel of past challenges and catch pokemon based on the challenge that you picked.
For example: chillin rolls the gym leader challenge and quick rolls two truths and a lie.
