I’m so glad y’all did the no random abilities and no random moves. I really wanted to see a full competitive battle between you two, especially using legendaries
I enjoy it too but I prefer that they mix it up and do videos with and without randomized moves because I like the more randomized element too.
I agree with you both tbh. This is really nice as a fresh battle format for these fellas to do a normal, competitive battle. I do also say the standard format they have is a solid one. I love seeing things like a powerhouse sweeping venomoth (shoutout to shadypenguin one time)

Doing the random move sets and random abilities is fun to watch. Because you don’t know what Pokémon will have what. But it’s refreshing to see the moves and abilities that the Pokémon will actually have.
Early shinies didn’t get designed, the color palette was just shifted to the next one in the code. Which is exactly why Zapdos got done dirty😂
Thats also why so many early water pokemon get purple shinies :)
They've adjusted and changed some shines why not those bad ones too?
@@ZeCaveman Right? Like Gengar, they could have made it's shiny the same as it's Mega forms shiny, which is a pinkish-white. Instead we got a slighty duller purple
That’s actually a myth. There’s no evidence to support that theory and it’s never been confirmed by Game Freak. We still get bad shinies today because somebody doesn’t have enough fun designing them. I would think that’d be one of the easiest and more enjoyable parts of game development, it’s probably one of the last things they do too

Ogerpon is just as strong without the mask! Ogerpon is just grass type without the mask, the masks have him add a different type depending which one it holds
Ogerpon with no mask also gets the benefit of getting a held item that isn't a mask!
Don't forget the masks give a passive 20 percent boost to all her moves

Isn't ogerpon "no mask" in battle just oherpon with the teal mask on? Ogerpon doesn't always wear her mask when you send it out to walk around.
Ogerpon doesn't wear a mask when not in battle. You can tell what her secondary typing will be by the colour of her cloak. Being fully green, she is the teal mask version and pure grass-type

Ogerpon-Hearthflame is by far the strongest and is banned in some competitive formats but both Teal mask and Wellspring mask forms are pretty good as well. In fact both of the forms have won several competitive which really shows how versatile she can be.

1. They play it for fun not competitive
2. They don’t do research and waste their lives 24/7 with pokemon
3. Their job is to collect randomized pokemon make a UA-cam video and entertain us, they do not need to research every single move and pokemon just for the better out come.

Dialga does actually have a Primal Form. Although it’s only appeared in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon spinoffs.

Ooh, I have one. Go out into the wild in Sword and Shield, and catch random encounters in the grass. Neither of you can see the Pokémon the other found, and the one that ran into the Pokémon catches it immediately. They then tell you all four of the Pokémon's attacks, and they decide if they want the Pokémon solely from this. For this challenge, the Pokémon stays as is, so a charmander stays a charmander, no evolving. You would be allowed a skip 'once' but after that, you are stuck with your choice. Oh, and to make it more fun, you don't tell the other person the ability, so they may have someone with godly laser attacks... but with slow start.
Ogerpon changes masks by changing item, like Energy Boost, my opinion is that you could take Ogerpon and give it whichever mask you want like you do with the Paradox pokemon and the Energy Boost.
Ogrepom be like: " Am i- ... Kawaii?"
And that quickster play at the end even caught me off guard. Good cook
big fan of the competitive move sets, abilities are cool to randomize but part of the "then we fight" is building the best possible team with what you got so its a nice change

Would love to see more like this. More items, more actual sets. Random abilities can still be fun but love seeing creative or strong sets instead of just whatever happens
That's just ogerpon without a mask, in an actual battle she will have the teal mask automatically which had a decent ability, Defiant. And terastalizing will give it a speed boost combined with the broken Ivy Cudgel
Spicy!!!! I gotta say, big fan of the competitive move sets and items. Not that it should be an all the time thing, but even with the randomizer it gives abilities that would make using items beneficial and certain moves work. I guess it just boils down to my vote is for more videos with items. In any case, much love squad! Enjoy the battle!
Has the White Elephant Challenge been done yet?
1st Player does a Random Encounter and gets whatever appears.
2nd Player does a Random Encounter and decides to Keep what they got or Steal what the 1st Player got.
Then the 1st Player does another Random Encounter and decides if they wanna Keep what they got or Steal the 2nd Players Last Encounter.
Keep doing this until you get a Full Team of 6.
Once you Locked in your Pick you Can't Change it.

I, personally, enjoy the randomized abilities and randomized moves. It makes more interesting if you get a powerful legendary, it could have slow start or something.

Ogerpon always appears maskless outside of battle, in battle if none of its 3 masks are equipped it automatically comes in with the Teal Mask.

I like picking the abilities and moves every now and then. Should do it as a doubles battles with terra next time to make it truly competitive!
Zapdos would be a good shiny if they make him a black shiny with yellow accents. Great video Chilln.
for Zapdos I think i would make it's shiny be electric blue with the black it has it'd look AWESOME....by electric blue i mean the blue flash that you see when lightning strikes REALLY close to you. it's very slightly teal in color, but yeah it's such a light bright blue that would be gorgeous with Zapdos color pattern and such.
Challenge Idea (since you guys finally started doing some competitive battles)
You can only catch gen 9 OU pokemons but you have to catch the first ones you see. you get 3 skips. then you battle it out! This can also be turned into a series like today you guys did UBERs ( in a sense though some mons weren't uber) , so OU next and then UU and so on.
Another thing to consider is giving those pokemons randomized competitive movesets+abilities+stats from smogon (can be easily found) or sets sent by fans!

Challenge Idea:
Each player can ask 2 general questions such as ( pokedex number, color, type, pokedex entry .. etc) for each randomized set of pokemon.
Video idea: one person gets to run around picking their pokemon but moves are randomized. The other person gets random encounters but can pick from learnable moves & maybe TMs. Flip a coin for who's who.

Duuuude Lando is actually like one of the best mons ever with normal movesets and abilities. He didn't deserve to be disrespected in this way. Still great fun watching you try this for a change. Next time when you use items, please only use each item once.
Chillin, Ogrepon always appears without a mask when not in battle. The one that showed up for you was the Teal Mask Ogrepon, as the only difference between the standard and shiny versions was Ogrepon's face, which is green instead of orange
Definitely would have preferred to see more picks based on how interesting the Shiny looks (Woo-Shien e.g.) but this was a great battle and a nice vid either way :)
Can you do a 6v6 wheel with ash’s pokemon , regular abilities and attacks though maybe even doubles for this , would be crazy to see . Also a true starter battle between the 12 starters in Kano through sinnoh
I think Zekrom and Reshiram were the first ever shiny locked Pokémon and you couldn’t get their shinies for almost a decade until dynamax adventures. They don’t have a good shiny because they never needed one

If it's possible to randomise trainer pokemon, you can take 1 Pokemon that trainer used.

Challenge idea
roll the wherl to select the type of your pokemon you will catch and ban a type that can be super efective vs your water.
For example you get to catch water type pokemon and your oponent get poison type, the one with the water type can ban grass so your oponent can't catch a poison/grass combo and the one with the poison type can ban ground so no catching water/ground combo.
I got a challenge for you guys. Pick your best team member from gen 1 to gen 9 and use randomized abilities and movesets from Chat GPT

Ograpon is not weaker without the masks. It just changes his type when it tera and changes its signature move type. But it's broken good
Thought for shiny Zapdos, swap the black and yellow. So it would be mostly black with some yellow on the wings
With kanto zapdos they could have done something like make it more black and less yellow but with a little yellow remaining only.
I'm not sure this would be possible but choose Pokémon based off looking at their shadow silhouette...😅

Always felt Zapdos as a blue/white shiny would be cool. Go from yellow lightning to blue/white.
For future foreign language challenges, if there is a legend or whatever whose name is the same you should substitute a random word from that language

on zapdos the beak and talons are diffrently colored for shiny.
Idea! Get some glasses for chillin that mimic color blindness and have a color blind battle challenge wheel!
