This is probably my favorite from the entire "Hololive Saga". The first half sounds like a homage to Inuyasha (with a little Kajiura/Shiina I think), the second half put a huge smile on my face, that's some pure Sakimoto right there.

tldr, made a wholeass backstory for Aki inspired by your wonderful music. Sha'llys, a secret well-guarded country of esoteric magic settled around the eastern Mediterranean coast. Once a coastal settlement plagued by invading pirates and marauders from all sides, it soon had gained room to flourish all due to the sanctuary given by a defensive matrix system made with the brilliant matrimony of magic and technology. Crediting the creation of this would go to the mind of Leon Rosenthal, a renegade elf technologist that repaid and helped flourish this once humble community that gave him refuge. He has an uncanny origin that ties him with an influential criminal organization within the Balkans. Leon fled as far as he could as he was about to be silenced (killed) for confessing about the organization to the authorities, which led him to discovering and taking refuge in Sha'llys. He returned the favor by first providing the people with the knowledge to craft weapons like he did at his previous affiliation, proven to be formidable enough to make their enemies flee. And then using his technological knowledge, he developed the defense system that utilizes both magic and technology for the community as it grows into the fortified country as it was known for, collaborating with the ace of the country's newly established magic society, a siren by the name of Filauria. This long partnership eventually turned into romance and union, and eventually gave birth to a beautiful girl, Aki. Aki had the grace of his siren mother and, interestingly, the tenacity and keenness of his father. They are yet to see her develop a skill for either magic, technology, or both on her, but they do see her curiosity with these. She grew honing both spirit and grace and also did show affinity for her parents' specializations. She however had a visible sadness as the time she got to spend with her family became less and less as both Leon and Filauria became immersed in another of their projects. Grave misfortune struck Aki, moreover the entire country, too soon. Invaders from a country in the far East got into the defenses of Sha'llys and managed to destroy them, and eventually they razed this once flourishing country to acquire its secrets. Leon founding out that his former organization conspired with the invaders, decided to confront them so he can keep them away from Filauria and Aki. The mother-daughter pair got very far, but "that" organization soon enough caught up and cornered them. This is where Filauria revealed and handed down to Aki the craft that she and Leon have been recently working on. To Aki they look like two strange trinkets. They were clipped onto her hair. Filauria activated them with a short yet bizarre chant and in a span of a few seconds, an array of events transpired. Aki was handed all of what they have in person as she was engulfed for a split second in a void which then dissipated, revealing that she had been transported somewhere. Now contained in a strange metallic pod falling from the sky, her fate steers in an unpredictable path. Will this be a new beginning for her?
Superbly arranged! This is amazing! Truly a gem hidden in plain sight! I hope more people seems this and be in awe and chamred by Aki Rosenthal and join the Rosetais! I have lostend and heard many versions of Shallys but this is by far one of my favorites! Next to the original it has given the song a completely whole new feeling! Well done!
I really wish Akirose-chan would take notice of this arrangement soon! I had done the unspeakable of tagging her on Twitter but have yet to see her react to your arrangement. On the other hand, this arrangement is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. I get so many vibes and most of all I really love the second to third half of it! It really reminds me of Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger OST epicness. The first half is also just so beautiful. 👌🏼😩 Like yooo the deep forest, wide night sky, fantasy vibe 😭💕💕 💕 💕 And the closing.
