The Dspiae Electric Grinding Pen is small (16 x 125 mm) and ergonomic. Weighing just 58 grams, it is easily held in the hand to give you precise control. The included grinding bits offer various shapes to help you sand your models with care and accuracy.
Unlike other sending pens that often have just one speed, the Dspiae Electric Grinding Pen offers 3 speeds to enable you to choose the exact level of sanding you need. The built-in battery can be charged to 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes with a full charge completed in 1 hour. The Electric Grinding Pen is charged with the USB type C cable which is included.
Each of the grinding heads you choose is secured with an allen key to ensure the grinding bit is secure. The key is safely stored in the body of the Dspiae Electric Grinding Pen so you don’t lose it!
The chuck of the Dspiae Electric Grinding Pen is 3mm making it compatible with a range of additional tools. Some tools, however, are much smaller than 3mm. Tyrell Models has located a chuck adapter which you can use to convert the 2mm chuck to 2.35mm, which is often the size of other grinding bits you may already have in your toolbox.
Speed, power, and load indicators are built into the body of the Dspiae Electric Grinding Pen to ensure you can choose the right speed for your job. Also, if you put too much pressure onto the model you are sanding, which is too heavy for the Pen, the device will automatically turn off to preserve the motor.
