I've found DSPAIE to be a reliable, inexpensive brand. This is a great tool, works well, much smaller than others(~A4 size). Only v fussy complaint, labeling needs more vowels to make silly/rude words. Extra number "1"s & "2"s (x5, 20 total), but 26 letters.

I'm looking at getting these but I would like to have seen you cutting a few different shaped pieces off the sprue with some close ups, I think you'd probably sell more of them if people could see them being used with some actual results. thanks

Hmm! I said this on another channel I'm definitely becoming grumpy in my old age. I am getting fed up with companies reinventing the wheel. The only advantage is the hexagon shaped handle to stop it rolling off the bench. It seems you are locked onto using their blades and only get 20 in a pack. I still use my Swann Morten style handle (doesn't roll of the bench) that has a plastic coating and buy packs of 100 blades of the internet for literal pennies.

Buy a tattoo version….we have a muuuuuch higher pigment load and ours are great. Though yours looks lab grade. So I don’t know why you’re saying it’s not great? Mine is half the size and mixes my white paint and white tattoo ink which is crazy pigment load fine. Great I’d say.

hi Dave, looked at your video on the sanding system and agreed with @marcusandrews-mackay7436 that having different shapes to the feet would be a good idea but also adding different widths and lengths to the feet to aid in getting into difficult to reach areas and maybe make the handles of different shapes to fit the feet, so you could have a circular handle to go with a round foot or triangle shape handle for a foot of that shape, the list could go on. I've been playing with this idea myself but using ice lolly sticks and sticking wet and dry sandpaper to them with double sided tape but found that the tape doesn't last long.

I use the same frames for my work. I drill my holes using a standard old fashioned wheel brace. No dust, just shavings. Far quieter. No need to recharge. Accepts a wide range of drills and cutters.

I have the lozenge shaped stubby one, its good but would like more grip where you fingers sit near the blade, otherwise excellent.

I’d definitely consider it for fine dust collection, but only if absolutely necessary. The noise would do my head in so I’d have to wear ear defenders or my noise cancelling headphones 🎧 which at the moment isn’t very comfortable. Sprue doesn’t seem to produce dust that hangs in the air, but I bought a nail dust collector for small amounts of dust. This will go on the list for when I’m grinding lots though. I’m looking forward to giving that paint shaker a go too.

The small 30° blades are just regular 9mm 30° snap-off blades that has been snapped. It is much cheaper to buy the complete blade and snap them off as you need them.

Interesting to note that you can store the spare blades in the handles instead of having to scrabble around looking for the boxes!

I have the four e’s and the turbo vortex. I use the first one for brush, painting, Vallejo, and similar paints. Use the other, turbo vortex for lacquer paints that I intend to spray. they each work brilliantly for what I use them to do. The turbo vortex does not shake spray cans. Well if you leave them unattended, they will fly out of the clip. Luckily I had the cap on. If you stand there and push the spray hand down into the clip as it’s shaking, you defeat the purpose of the clip shaker. Just my two cents.

I have a 3D printer. I designed and printed my own shaker. Its powerful enough to mix up to 300ml of paint. The current container holder cant go any bigger. (coke can size) Because I designed it, it clamps to my desk, so vibrations dont make it walk around. It vibrates and shakes, it runs off a 3amp 12v PSU... If something breaks.... I can print myself a new part.

But what will I do for exercise now? 😲

Hi, According to the DSPIAE web site only the #1200 & #1500 papers can be used for wet sanding or can be washed in tap water as they have a polyester membrane base. The other grits use a latex base which is not water resistant..... It says on the box under the instruction heading: "- It is not recommended to polish this sandpaper with with water" Presumably a little Chinglish translation means you can't use these with water! apart from the caveat on the website which says the #1200 & #1500 are OK with water!! Hi David, just a note to wish you all the best going forward and to advise / confirm that like yourself the paint mixer I ordered is by far the best I’ve used by a street mile. Ive got a Foure’s Scientific….not cheap and whilst really good the unit you’ve imported from Japan is easily in my opinion a step up for half the price. Look forward to seeing what other tools you import/ develop.

I have their current knife it's great except the round handle let's it roll off my desk

Barbatos Rex reviewed these a few months ago and it seemed on his review that the 'pinky hook' seems to be removable and so woild probably swap over for the left-handers out there

Wow, paint shakers in the US are almost twice the price of this.

Almost identical to the RP Toolz cutter I use but half the price! A no brainer choice.

I've had this Vortex paint mixer for about a year or so. I think it's great. I use all the time. I have even used a bottle as big as Createx paint. I had to hold it in place but it did the job. Most paints are not as big as a Createx bottles and this performed great on every size.

Got mine on Friday,great piece of kit saves all that shaking great service from you David would recommend your shop for any new device that help in our hobby.Very pleased thanks.
