The MOON In a Church?! And 500 Bodies Moved!? (Rotherham Minster History & Moon Tour)

Join us as we pay a special visit to Rotherham Minster to see the very special event taking place inside!

The exhibition is a touring artwork by Luke Jerram and was in Rotherham from 18th -30th November 2023.
Rotherham Minster is an epic Gothic built minster in the heart of Rotherham Town Centre. It dominates the Skyline and has seen a lot of change, including civil war battles being won, Decline in Rotherham’s industries and the towns regeneration.
The visit of the moon as successful and brought more people through the doors of this epic building, showing them just what a gem they have on their doorstep.
People from Sheffield, Doncaster & Barnsley travelled to Rotherham to visit the Moon. A great event from start to finish and hopefully one that will return to Rotherham sometime in the future.
