This only tells me one thing. There's no one they think is worth going after this year.

The reason they kept him is because their schedule is the same next year...😂

Only will work with a healthy Lagway and a good back up and playing like they are now with some depth. This recruting class idk. Got to pick up a few at least

This is a decision based mainly on laziness. They just don’t want to go through the hiring process again. We have a very not-serious athletic department. Cancel your season tix and STOP GIVING LAZY PEOPLE YOUR MONEY

The NIL money is going to take a major hit at Florida. Why donate millions when Florida isn't serious about winning?

Most people commenting on this situation are quoting Florida's "downfall" which I dont think is right. Napier's team has looked better and better throughout the season, and we now that we have the TALENT and effort, we've been hampered by injuries. The way I see it, we also lose a lot of our best players if we fire Napier. I dont know about you, but keeping Lagway is more important than kicking out Napier.

What does it mean? It means Florida is a dead football program.
The only way to reverse this is to lose out. Which is very possible.

This doesn't get reversed, and why would any "fan" hope for their team to lose? Billy Napier is the coach until he ain't, and as a fan of the Gators, I always want my team to win every game

@ ok you keep hoping that. I’ll keep hoping we get throughly embarrassed the rest of the way so this LOSER can be gone. Because if they do keep him after going 4-8 it will prove we truly shouldn’t care anymore.

This has EVERYTHING to do with Florida not having a President and...75 million (maybe even 100) GUARANTEED to the coach they would want.

  • @Drillpink

If y'all thought FLORIDA could just go out there and get any coach how come we ended up with Napier????
