I got lucky bought a big lot of Norma 17.6 gr. heavy pellets at a hug discount, they do great in my DRS .22, at 915 fps also. Was shooting a fist sized rock at 100 yards today :) Harassing a squirrel looking for freshly planted pumpkin seeds.
Sweet! I haven't tried Normas yet.
The Norma Golden Trophy FT 15.9 are awesome as well.

I'm so bias because I want to support American with the Jts and they do great, so I'm think I'm gonna get Jts more in the future. They do wonderful things in my Cuda Max 30. Thanks for the great video.
JTS pellets are made in China.
My FX Dreamline Compact does hole in hole at fifty yards with barracuda hunter extremes. I’m thinking that this rifle needs to find the right pellet and tune.

Each pellet/slug needs to be tuned to shoot well.
With our Notos' (Notoses ?😂), and don't know if it's just mental or maybe I'm slightly mental. But it seems we have to shoot 2 or 3 shots when switching pellets for it to lock in a group. Then again we are pretty spoiled as it seems the Notos can shoot just about any pellet well.
pellet diameter is why the heavier ones went faster. the diameter of the slightly heavier one is a much better fit to that barrel than the first two you tried.

I think ,And normal is,this was right out of the box with the right out of the box tune from FX..And i was shocked aswell about the groups .BUT this girl (i think i can say that ,old man) Does not tune bla bla to show how good it is .like many other channels do.Just get it out of the box and try diffrent pellets.I want 1 too and when i see this clip i think waist of money.But like i said ..I think this was very honest out of the box clip.
Hi really enjoy yours and Rick’s videos, it’s a bit confusing on how many channels, etc you guys have. I just subscribed to this one today, but have seen several of your videos on another channel 🤷🏼. I am pretty new to air guns, just in last couple of years, but I am in hook line and sinker. I used to shoot regular guns when I was younger and lived somewhere else, but went about a 30 year stretch with no shooting at all. Then I bumped into this sport on UA-cam good and bad, lol. The fact that you can shoot these in you back yard(assuming you have the right situation ) which I am fortunate to have and also built a range / gun room in my basement for rainy days and or winter( I am in Maine) . I am a bit surprised that this sport is not bigger than it is for those reasons. It’s a great hobby that you can get into for a few hundred $. Myself I have invested a few thousand $$ and having a blast, I now own close to 50 air rifles and climbing and several pistols as well. I don’t own an FX rifle yet, but this DRS is a definite possibility. Keep up the great work.

Man im just blown away that air guns coat 1k and higher. Like fr jesus christ lol i can see some big bored but for .177 or .22

Nah, I’ll call that the Grace group and I would have with any of them if it was the first group shot.
Horrible groups i.m.o. My Steyr shoots 1 hole (JSB) 15,9 pellets (at 50 meters, ie. 55 yards) all day long. If this is the performance of the FX Drs, I will pass on this (otherwise) beautiful rifle.
I think that’s an unfair comparison. A Steyr better give you one hole groups. Once this one is tuned for the appropriate pellet it most likely will to.

airgun angie ,thanks for the video.over the years ive done simmilar videos and in total honesty,nowadays i just shoot straight from the tin.if you do concise shooting then its weighing sorting heads etc etc,very interesting,ive allso got my best results clamping the rifle in a vice.to be honest every pellet and every tin is different.when i tested pellets its mostly 500 1000 to get a good view,.have you found bad shooting as well ok talk more later.heres a video i did,my shooting range is privatre and only 15 yards.hope the video helps.ua-cam.com/video/LHtLsb9KJs0/v-deo.html
