Rockhounding Afton Canyon, CA

Car camping overnight at Afton Canyon Campground. Rockhounding for jasper and other minerals on BLM land. Follow me up and through the canyon for the day. See some great views and lots of jasper.

We think we made it to the spot you were at. Beautiful agates and jaspers! 7 trains passed through the night which is the most we’ve had through the night. Appreciate your video! That’s our favorite rock hounding spot and so much to explore!

Thanks for checking out the video. No, not here but at another location several miles West of here I found a quartz point with a broken tip and a serrated scraper.
