Taylor Hastings I get my every 6-12 months -.- I would love to get my every two weeks
6 weeks
1 month
videos just keep getting better and better👍
Thank you. That's a great comment to receive!
I love your videos. I have really fine hair as well and it's hard to find hair tutorials for the styles I want that work with my hair type. A lot of places say if you have fine hair you should just keep it short. Not you! You're my hair goals.
Cheers Greyson. Stick with me!
Wow, I remember watching a couple of videos of you some years back. But then I lost track of you. Look at you now, still immensely helpful videos, but the quality has increased so much (that's not to say they were bad before). Just keep it up, you're doing wonderfully!
Thanks Lars. I appreciate you coming back to me.
Can't wait for you to reach 100k! More people need to watch these godly videos!
Thank you very much. We'll get there!
Congrats on 90k!! 🎉 Also, your hair looks seriously boss in this video 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Great advice again Robin ... I love the fact that you mix products for prepping and styling. I usually get mine cut every six weeks just so I can play with different styles. Keep up the great work ... Oh, and by the way Robi congrats on over 90,000 subs.
Thanks again, David.
You really helped me a lot to improve my appearance. You have great tipps and recommendations of products, which you gave us such great reviews and convincement to using it. Big thumbs up!
OMG this is the tutorial I've been looking for for AGES! I'm a girl but I have this exact haircut, and my hair is extremely fine and lacking in volume. These tips I'm definitely going to be using on a daily basis : D
Hey! Ah, this is great. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Stick with me.
I surely will : )
25 days is the longest? Damn you must be in there every week 😂
Its really satisfying when u style ur hair
Can you make a video of going around ur ears and cleaning up the back whilst growing out the hair by using clippers please?
Yes!!
Yes! I want to do this.
Please do Robin :)
Very engaging and informative videos! Also you're blue eyes are marvelous.
Wow you respond to almost everyones comments that is impressive! I don't know how you do that !LOL I wasn't going to subscribe as I have given up on looking fashionable....but...now I have have....I want to see more of your videos and your responses...who knows maybe you'll inspire me to do something with myself LOL
Hi Robin, just a suggestion? Would you ever consider doing a haul video of all your different hair products, or maybe just a few and giving a tiny little summary of each one for those looking to start styling their hair properly
Really good idea!
A great video that I can relate to since I've got a very similar hair type to yours. I've been running into few of these problems so this video definately made a few things clear for me.
I've only got óne little minor thing that bothered me a tiny bit: the denim of the jacket you were wearing and the denim of the jacket the mannequin was wearing just didn't really work for me together.
Besides that, this video was once again perfect. Looking forward to the next one! 💙
Ha ha! Thank you. I live in denim. 💙
hey robin! thanks so much for this video, my hair is pretty similar to yours (just slightly less fine) and i'll definitely put these tips into practice, since i get my hair cut about once every 2 months lol. another great video like always, keep it up!!
Glad it's helpful.
Hi Robin, I just subscribed to your channel and it has some really interesting and cool stuff. Keep it up! I am a 23 year old guy, who up till a few months ago always hated the fact that I had wavy/curly hair, and did many things such as straightening, or leave it as short as possible from the top not to expose the fact that I have curls and waves. I had a sudden change of thought 2 or 3 months ago, and I decided to embrace my hair texture. For the past 2 months, I have decided to grow out the top side of my hair as i realised the longer it is, the more the curls gain a beautiful texture. However, I definitely want to keep the sides as short as possible, maybe a 'zero' or a 'one', probably a 'one', and maybe faded up as the the sides go up, but the top still needs to grow out a bit more.
What would you suggest? Would you maybe consider posting a video for tips to people with wavy & curly hair in the future, or maybe you already have a video for which is similar and I haven't came across it yet? Thanks :)
Hey Robin I'd like to suggest a review for ByVilain Sidekick! It claims to be the ultimate prestyler as it adds volume, texture, and works as a heat protectant too. Thank you!
YES PLEASE
A lot of things claim to be the 'ultimate'. I would take it with a pinch of salt.
That said, I'm still to try it!
Definitely a helpful video. I was just wondering what to do with my hair yesterday after having it cut 3 weeks ago. Then I gave up and went for a haircut. I feel like as the hair gets longer I waste a lot more time and product to style it and also cause more damage to the hair by doing so.
UGHH the struggle is real.
It's a tricky time between cuts!
I am just waiting for you to reach 100k which you deserve man as you help all of us so much . It's like the night before i think of a problem and the next day you put a video on that topic . It's like you read minds 😏 .
I have been reading your mind... yes! Ha ha
It's been like 3 months since my last cut. I'm growing out my hair so I can highlight it.
Anyways this helped a lot!
excellent! i´ve tried and really work for me !
Congrats on 99,000 hope u get to 10000
Am I the only one who gets excited whenever Robin uploads?
No way I get hype
I do!
Thankyou so much for this video, so helpful for my position!
Cheers Ryan
Np
This video was very helpful! Especially since like I’m not even kidding you have the same exact hair type as me like no joke
Simply superb robin...
Another quality video, cant wait for you to reach 100k, then a mil. :)
Thank you!
I don't mean to be rude because I love your videos, but your hair looks great the way it is. your sides lay down really nicely and they seem to be really cooperative. my problem is that I am too stubborn to get a haircut any more often than every 2-3 months. and my sides sick straight out because my hair is so straight and thick. it doesn't do what I want it to do. what do you recommend?
Not rude at all. I would recommend getting a haircut. Seriously. It's the best way to get the style you want. Why are you stubborn?
Very nice bro , thanks for the tips , keep up the work ❤️🔥
Thank you Khai.
I have the same problem the sides of my hair just sticks out when it grows. By the way nice video keep it up
my hair is very fine like yours, i can't do anything with it because whenever i give it volume, it sticks up so much you can see the entire shape of the surface of my head. i always end up just buzzing it off, unstylish but suits me the best in terms of comfort. wish i could do more though.
robin i love you am actualy watching from Tanzania Africa your accent is king
Cheers Arnold! Hello to you and Tanzania.
Hey Robbie.
Can you advice anything that doesn't require any products. I mean just how to wash and comb and blow dry in between haircuts not using any products.
Hi robin👉
What length do you usually get on the sides and what do you ask for in terms of the fade?
Very helpful video as always. It helped me a lot , as i usually get a very tight trim on the sides.
Also please review L'Oréal Indestructible Sculpting Wax (force 4 and force 7). Planning on buying it soon. So please review it as soon as possible. Thank You!
hey! Thank you.
If you're going to buy it, you don't need a review, surely?
Robin I really need your help. I always do a slick back/ combover, with my sides and back tapered from a 0 but after this last haircut when I slick it back with pomade, the top sticks out over the back of my head and to get it to lay down it requires a lot of product and half a bottle of hairspray. Please gimme some tips. (Sorry for the length)
I love your hair so much!
and congrats on 90,000 subs! so close to the silver play button!
Thank you! And yes! The play button. Didn't think!
Robin, I do have a question. I have very fine, thin and light hair. I'm struggling to find a product that can hold my hair up, when I add lots of volume with a blowdryer. Wax just seems to fall down. I need something that will perhaps harden it? I don't want to ues hair spray every day. I used to have spikes and water/blowdryer did the job...but now its a nightmare!
Watch robin's kelvin murphy free hold video it will help you
Do u use hair spray on daily basis in your hair styling
Plz make a video for the baby hair on the front, why they don't grow up, and if we can do anything about it, thankYou
Nice video, Robin! - I like using mousses but unfortunately it makes my hair abit greasy, any tips?
I'd stop using it then and try something else. How about clay?
My old barber cut my hair shorter on one side, what should I tell my new barber to get my hair even without soundjng confusing? I currently have a comb over but I'm wanting to switch to an undercut.
Nice video Robin!
Cheers man!
What about paste? I use el patron because it smells so good and it has a really good hold to my hair with a more of a matt look and i have a taper fade with a track line and Pompadour kind of look and i just wanted your opinion on paste i use it everyday i blow dry my hair with hairspray and then add paste am i using it correctly?
great vid man.... dope hair!!!!
Thank you!
Great video ! keep it up champ
Thanks Hass
So close to 100k!
Almost(ish)!
your grown out hair is my haircut 😂
Thanks for the video. Such an annoying topic to focus on that isn't covered too much here on UA-cam. Cheers!
You are more than welcome!
cool video as usual, but how much do your cuts cost usually?
Hey! It depends where I go. I pay £45 at the moment.
I'm constantly changing barbers as I can't find the right one.. any tips??
Hey robin. What haircut do you get? What do u tell your barber?
Hey - I normally get it tight back and sides (0) and long on top.
Robin! Almost 100k subs! Don't forget about your first 10K subs😢
Never forget! I appreciate every single subscriber. It's a massive deal.
thanks for the tips dude
You're very welcome
Let's say I'm you and I need to explain I want that haircut, with a 0 on back and sides, what do you tell them for the top?
Keep it long. Back slightly shorter than front.
very helpful robin! but i have to say that i miss your old videos, those were much more energetic! i miss the energetic Robin James!
LOVE
nice vid robin 😀
Thanks Abdul
Robin, have you tried the by Vilain products?
I've not yet.
Robin where'd you get that grey shirt
plzz plzz do a video on curly off center parting hairstyles
Very specific! Sounds cool though.
😄
does mousse provide heat protect and is Taft mousse good for daily use
Hey - I've never used Taft, sorry.
I bought a new mousse by novagold its great
Hello. I shampoo and then condition my hair every 4'th day. I don't shampoo daily because I've heard that isn't healthy. In the between days I just rinse it with water, but it starts to smell bad. So if I just rinse my hair with water and don't use shampoo it smells. What can cause this?
It could be caused by bacteria, from dry sweat. Do you exercise or sweat a lot?
No I don't.
I see u! GREAT VID!
Thank you!
Robin can you do Matt Smith Hair How To ? It would be great if you could help us out :)
Hey! His hair is pretty long. I wouldn't be able to do it
Okay Thanks for the reply though. :)
doesn't your hair fall down from mid or side like 2-3 strands of hair.. I also have fine hair and no matter what I do that 2-3 strands always fall on my face..
Hey, no, nothing for me. When you say 'fall', do you mean fall out?
No, I mean hair flops from mid section
Do you exp/erience hair falling out yourself robin? If so how many strands would you say while styling/wash out fall out
Hey..I have a short curly(Wavy) dry hair :( Do u know about how to fix it
If you grow it out slightly, it might be easier to control.
+Robin James but if I grow more there r more curls and my hair becomes very dry
Please do a review on the recently released MoonFiber hair products by EdwardZo! Would be great to know how good it is.
Hey - I've not heard of them. What is it?
I haven't had mine cut for 27 days!!
How I make soft n volume to give my hair plz suggest me
yadvinder singh ogx voluminous argan oil mousse in damp hair and blow dry
Ha I get my hair cut every 5 weeks so this is so relatable
It's hard! I love a goof haircut.
What's his haircut called?
Slick!
Thanks!
"I've not had my hair cut in 25 days"
Me - trying not to look guilty and hide my 4 month long hair, lol
I subed to u because of ur eyes color
What is the name of your haircut ??
At least your hair looks good when it grows out, specifically with that style. I have very curly hair and mine can become very patchy and when the sides and back grow they start to curl upwards which is an absolute pain.
Oh, it really doesn't! I'm not a fan with how it looks.
twenty five days is the longest? :D that is truly fashion forward ;)
If I don't, I get loads of you guys (not you!) saying how crap my hair looks. Ha!
the ones saying that are just jelous, or bold :)
How did you get the patience to grow the top out long? Haha
Just cut the sides, easy
I love you very much 😍😍😍😍
💙
💙
theae products are not available in my country ..shitt,,
I wish I could get a cut every 25 days lol
It doesn't have to be expensive.
Robin, I do have a question. I have very fine, thin and light hair. I'm
struggling to find a product that can hold my hair up, when I add lots

Can you do a vo5
And loock bock
There will be more VO5 soon.
HELP when I apply vo5 Matt clay to my hair it just messes up through the day I EVEN APPLY HAIRSPRAY it's all neat before I leave the house😡
Are you applying when wet or dry?
+Robin James dry
Your videos are good but I prefer your older videos because they are more causal and more fun
Hey! I think it's just because I've matured slightly. This is my job, so I take it seriously. When I started, I was a lot younger. Hopefully you still enjoy them though.
I see.. yes I still enjoy them keep up the good work mate!!
I probably get my hair cut maybe 3-4 times a year lol
fr im too poor
Oh wow. Well, if it works for you.
It doesn't have to be expensive.
Robin James well I only do that because I've never had a short hairstyle but I've tried the undercut and just haven't been back yet to trim it up. But it's $22 for me, is that a normal price?
👍👍💓💓
💓
What is your face shape?
You should also make a video about face shapes and what looks good with what
I never really look at shapes, I just experiment with cuts and styles.
how can I do this without a blow dryer
Dont even try. You wont get your desired style. Just buy a blowdryer theyre not that expensive.
does it matter Wat kind of blow dryer I buy or are they all different from one another?
+MoonStone look it up. Look for words like Ceramic, Ionic and etc and high wattage
MoonStone look for one with a nozel, a medium and cold setting and thats about it. Should be around 40 bucks.
As Bills says... you need one! Doesn't matter what type.
Didn't know guys used so much time on their hair ahah I just wash my hair and braid it and then sleep ahah
Robin has nice teeth
Can you do how to
Hi Corey, I did in this video. :D
if these are what you consider grown out sides then future Robin has some news for you
Get a cut by EJonesTV
I'll check them out.
it would be a great collab
YESSSSS
That doesnt mean he cant tell him to do that...
NelsonGamezYT I've been thinking that his hair would look god like if if got a fresh cut by him
