- I wanted to whip together a flat bar to skate whenever so here it is, was an interesting experience to say the least
Got this idea from @keenramps and I thought I would give it a crack

Well done!! Good to see some more DIY on you channel. Just one suggestion, cut three triangles from your drop offs and screw them in to support the wood. One in the middle and on each end and you will have a solid rail that will last a while.

Hey Sean, recently discovered you and I must say i love watching your videos, specially with you being a goofy skater it helps me learn since most skate videos people are regular so the learning process just doesnt add up for me. I just started skating so ive been searching and searching and then boom you just pop outta nowhere and it's awesome, so much i subscribed a few weeks ago! But then you said something in this video that made my stomach turn, 14:35 !! Denny's is sooo subpar man ! You'd be better off at Applebees or Black Bear Diner !

man im in murrieta (elsinore side not temecula side) and im making a diy. inspired your diy back in australia. i found what looks to be an old sign-post in the woods by my neighborhood for some reason. how crazy. and i'm gonna start making my diy on a patch of concrete i found. im gonna make a rail like this one for the diy.

Watch the kick on the old power saw I nearly lopped my thumb off because the blade was blunt and I was holding it where I shouldn’t have .

I personally think sometimes higher stuff works easier for me id rather pop more than less lol but i built this one to be very playful

I just built one of these, but with a metal pipe and about twice the height. For my skill level its hard to learn things, so might be an idea to replicate yours. Cheers for the vid

you couldve just angled the blade at whatever angle you wanted instead of angling the saw.

I love seeing the DIYs man! I might give this a try.. its more difficult to find steel pipe and more expensive but if the pvc holds it looks like a great substitute. I ended up building a 13” tall box with angle iron for about 85$ in material.. buy that online for anywhere close lol! Good vid bro!

ya i know it sucks! serenity and summerly both dont have flatbars. i live off grand and clinton keith. i need a round flat bar to help me learn my switch grinds.
well not a round at least. they have a square flat bar at serenity. i dont have any friends that skate if you ever want to skate one day.
