My point about lgbtq community is, if they go against the religion teachings, that means these communities are not likely christians, right? England is Christian in culture and less so legislation.
Legislation, in the opinion of most british people, should be a balanced framework to allow people to practice their way of life provided it doesn't harm others. Its incredibly difficult but just because its hard doesn't mean we should give up on it. With that said England can remain a Christian culture while being legally secular by teaching the scientific consensus of things like the big bang and evolution. We also in the UK still have an official Christian church with a seat in the house of commons so church and state have not been separated entirely.
