I am from Sweden (Scandinavia) and my daughter is 12 and just started to get her menstrual. 12, not 20. And most of her friends in same age also get the first period. This is so sick. I get ill from watching this.
I'm originally from West Africa. That's the same age or about the same age we all started, and even now in USA around the same age most girls start. 20 is not a norm at all. All humans have always started around the age of 12. There are a few cases of starting earlier or later, but it's always been around 12 plus or minus 2 or 3 years. Plus starting ones period doesn't magically turn that girl into a mature adult either. A 20 year old who hasn't gotten a period is more mature than a 12 year old with a period. The mental gymnastics is just crazy here.
