Sorry to here that there was illness. I hope everyone is back to good health.
I had COVID starting on Boxing Day. It was miserable. For the first three or four days I was hoping for death… Not really but it WAS awful. But, my cat looked after me and neighbours did shopping for me. I got a bit cavalier about not wearing my mask… It was my first bout.
What a horde of stoppers you found!!!
A belated New Year to you both and Mumma Mudpie!
Sorry to hear you have been so poorly! Wishing you well 💪❤️
@@Mudpies Thank you! All better, now!
Thank you Josie & Andy for braving the chill to give us great content! We appreciate you and all the effort that goes into making your videos x
Thank you! 😊 x
Welcome Back Mudpies!!! I often wondered that on some of your creek larks there was some digging to be had. The creek with the deep pool comes to mind. People were always looking for places to dump their rubbish and a creek barricade was an easy place to dump. A Great vid Glad to see you back on the tube. It must be very difficult to balance training with larking and editing, Josie. No worries though, we'll always be here for you guys.😝🚴♂🚴♂🚴♂🥐☕
Oooo yes the deep pool creek definitely has some uncovered beauties hiding about that’s for sure. Yes it’s a tricky balance at the minute, stomach bug did not help lol, but we are definitely preparing for more larking! Especially as the weather improves 😍😍 thanks for the epic support as always Bob!!! X
So good to see you all! Some lovely finds too! I truly hope everyone is well now and/or healing. Stay healthy Mudpies...Zoya is a beautiful squelch squad member! I love my snood too! So soft and perfect weight when you're hiking. Even use it to keep my hair outta my eyes when gardening! Have a wonderful time until we see you again Mudpies Family!
I think Zoya is blushing!
Hello Julianne, Josie and moma Mudpie both use the snood as a hair wrap! Thanks so much for your positive vibes. Take care 😀❤️ x
Happy to see you back! Miss your smiles and treasures you find. Love the stoneware and the pan yam bottle lid! Cool teapot. ❄️☃️⭐️
Great to see you both out braving the freezing weather in the name of mudlarking! My favourites are always the stoneware! Love the teapot. A teapot can never be to big! Oi..oi from the land of the emu! ❤😊
Emu it!!!! Our pleasure, so pleased you enjoyed it 😊👍❤️
At least you didn't come away empty handed from the cold dump. All the best on your future hunts.
Very true, we are lucky to have this dump nearby. Thanks so much 😃x
Flipping LOVE seeing you appear in my YT feed. I bought some super ace items from your Etsy shop a few weeks ago including Josie's photo book, a gorgeous boat ink & a delish cut off bottle which holds a tea light PERFECTLY. Ink me RIGHT OFF. Thanks for cheering me up after a ploppy day x
That's such a lovely comment, thank you 😻. Hope your day improves 💪💪💪😃❤️x
Hiya guys - great to see you both looking so well and funktastic! Really enjoyed the adventure, the superstar for me (don't shoot me Josie) is the teapot - it's HAND PAINTED! A little repair and it would make a beautiful little garden or windowsill panter. I really loved the green bottle too and yes the Fields ink is a true belter! As for your next adventure, I don't mind at all, you can't go wrong - I am going to do some research and find a Yorkshire bottle dump for you to dig I think!
We love Yorkshire! And dad especially loves Yorkshire tea👍❤️
@@Mudpies I’m on it - I will update you when I get some good info - looking forward to this evening! 😄🫶🌟
Zoya says thanks! That snood kept her surgical site nice and dry in the snow!! She was so excited to have a video shout out!! 🐾🐾
Hope she is on the mend. :-)
@@mirkatu3249 Yes! Thank you. All healed up, and back to playing in the snow! ❄️
@@user-siber_spaces7 Fabulous news, just as she should be! Such a cute pic x
Glad to see you on your dad back on UA-cam. Some awesome finds. Hope you and your dad have the best finds in your future videos. Have a good one and Peace to you and your dad.

Oioiiiii squad!!!!❤
Great to see you both some great finds. Jaffa enjoys her chin tickled
Hehehe she really does!!!
Nice to see your smiling faces ! Another great adventure...my favorite are the stoneware but the inks are always fun to see as well. Keep warm and stay safe....hugs from Ontario, Canada xo.....Wanda
Hello Wanda, I'm sure it's much colder in Canada at the moment! Thanks as always for your support 😊❤️x
@@Mudpies We did have a bit of snow today but it's actually been a very mild winter for us...I do love a good snowstorm though...lol...cheers !!
@craftsandcards Please, would you send me some of that snow? I live in eastern North Carolina and I'm so jealous of all the places that are getting snow, and I'm not...we're mostly getting rain. I'm considered a weird Southerner because I'm crazy about snow, but there you have it. It takes all kinds doesn't it? Greetings to you from New Bern, North Carolina.
Fabulous video as always what a great haul. The tea pot is wonderful. Seeing the stoppers lined up reminds me of coat hooks. I hope you are all feeling better and keep cycling Josie x
Hello Heather, that's a great idea I can imagine them as coat hooks. I'm pleased we brought the teapot home with us, it's kind of grown on us ! Take care 😀 x
what a nice surprise to see a new video from u when i woke up. glad u rescued the teapot - so beautiful. if the hole is mended it could make a nice pot for a plant.
Hello Teresa, we got really behind with videos to upload because of one thing and another. We will indeed be putting a plant in the teapot 😀. Take care ❤️x
Welcome back to the mud! We've missed your uploads. It's lovely that the finds jumped up and went home without complaining. Would love to know if the mark on the bottom of the teapot gave away a dated time and place from researching. 🫖 Blessings to all.
That teapot would make a great kintsugi project.
I loved the stone ware but for me the teapot was so beautiful and would make a great planter, I think the leaves on it are Hawthorn leaves. I am amazed at the amount od stopper you have found, a wonderful collection! love the beautiful bottles ! Be safe out there!
Hope your health is getting better and the larking more epic. Stay warm and safe.
Spock would be proud of you Vulcan(ites). Great finds and love from Minnesota.
👍😃😃😃❤️
I was so excited to see you guys doing a video always a good time
Been waiting for you guys! Where have you been?😀🤣
We have been ill with some sort of stomach virus and also very busy with the dreaded work! Thankfully all better now, lots of larks planned!😍
I would love to see the wonderful things you choose to keep in your personal collection
We will try and include a bit of film from the Mudpies museum collection soon. Take care 😀❣️
Great to see you back 😊
Looking forward to your next adventure.
Keep squelching.
Dave & Ali. Yorkshire way 😊😊
G'Day Guys, great to see you back at it, unearthing some hidden treasures. 👍👍 Cheers Kev

Hello greetings from California … cold weather is on! So glad for your finds! Stay warm and cheerful … love hearing your sweet conversations! Hoping you find an epic item! Go digging! Be well and thank you for your fun videos 😊
Hello there, what's the weather like in your part of Cali at the moment? I know when we think it's cold here I'm conscious that it's nothing compared to many spots in N America. Pleased you enjoyed it, take care 😀 x
@@Mudpies your kind for asking….rain is what hits us hard in California … we are to get rain in days to come! so far so good….your wonderful England can get extremely cold I’m sure! Stay safe and thank you for the lovely videos! 🌼
Great finds both love watching your videos ❤
You guy getting some great finds! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very nice collection. Fun watching you dig. Wishing I was there. Beautiful dog. Did you say it had surgery? Pretty kitty too.
Dear Mudpies family.
👍👌👏 Congratulations 🎉 for a lot of nice finds. So what did the research with the production number on the teapot bring up? Hope that you can repair the item and for instance use it as a plant pot. 2) Because having so many vulcanite stopple boppers, I would drill a lot of fitting holes in a relatively big and thick piece of wooden plate. Then put the stoppers in and display them hanging on a wall as a big rhombus for instance. At least in my fantasy it would look great.
As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and especially health to all of you.
Loads of good stuff. Have subscribed now too,as you two make me smile. Thank you for sharing.
wow some amazing finds mudpies lovely to see you both regards to mamma mudpie xx

Awesome video once again Mudpies, just loved it ❤😍 soooo many bottle stoppers 😮 of course as an Aussie I loved the Emu one ❤❤ can't wait to go along on your next adventure via UA-cam. Thank you both 😊
You could get a potter to make a handle and lid for that Awesome teapot and to fix the damage, I think it is worth it, I love it!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Lovely to see you back again! Hi from hot summer in Dunedin., New Zealand

Great to see you again! Fun times, and fantastic finds 😊😊😊
It’s always nice to see you two digging away.
The shoreline has one advantage. You don’t have to fill it back in.
I did love your display of volconite stoppers. The could have been reset into the board and displayed that way.
Hope you get new sites to trudge through, and also warmer weather!! Stay healthy🥰🥰🥰
Thanks 👍💗

Oh my! I love the teapot! Would make a lovely planter!
clearly youve discovered a vulcan dumpsite. though one would think it illogical to leave such detritus laying around. maybe if was a pre surak dumpsite lol. live long and prosper!
Great finds and glad you are feeling better❤
Ya'll need to show us, Mama pies shelf, please.
Love the teapot. What a shame it's not in better condition.

My eyes have been scanning the mud flats looking for the Lesser Spotted Mudpies and here you are! Missed you!! Hope all is well and, like you, looking forward to warmer weather. Take care and stay warm until then. Love and hugs from me in New Mexico USA.
Legend 💪💪💪💪👊❤️
I've missed you guys! ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful to see you two Legends braving the cold and snow for some larkage. 🥶🤩😁 I actually enjoy being surprised when a new video pops up. 😲 It keeps me from falling into a UA-cam rut. 😂😝 I adore the tea pot. I could see it repurposed as a plant pot if Andy could manage to drill a hole in the bottom without it breaking. 😬 It would be really tricky though. 😧 You both put so much energy into your treasure hunting that you truly deserve more beltsteins, but this was a lovely selection of favourites nonetheless. 🥰 See you next time, as always, from your loyal subscriber in Ontario, Canada. 😍😘🤗💖👍👍👋
A truly loyal subscriber, thanks for your support as always Noralee 💗
Good to see you back here!
Thanks legend! Happy to be out again! 😀
It is 26 degrees F. here today. We got freezing rain and snow last night. I'm staying in the house today. You are much braver than me. I can't take the cold at my age (75 years). Even though it is broken, that is a beautiful tea pot. I have a large one; but, it isn't that big. I love my tea (and a ginger beer now and then).
Hope it warms up soon ❤️
I love the huge teapot.
I always enjoy watching your videos. Your enthusiasm is contagious. You may not have been that excited with some of the fines, but I think no matter what you find it’s interesting as it’s all part of life back in the day looking forward to many more adventures.
Well put Karen x
Today bought a triage of Fairy bottles - 2 champers and another from similar era, looking forward to receiving them as well as locating a place to dig myself before i get too old ! Great inspiration, info and adventures !
Fabulous 😍, enjoy x
Were the ink pots a use once and throw away item like the clay pipes ..... or, did people take them to an ink/print shop and have their bottles refilled? BTW ... so good to see you back.
Hello there, for the most part we believe that the simple inks like the octagonals or penny inks were sold with ink and then discarded. Large stoneware master inks were used to fill up small inkwells such as school or desk inks. Thanks for your support 😀❤️
Great to see you Guys again. Loved the video, Cheers, John.
Thanks John 😄 x
