It must be demoralizing when you show up in your best shape, fight your best fight, try all your tricks and tactics and the other guy just keeps coming for you, swinging bombs that can send you to lala land at any moment. You start getting tired, you start getting hurt, nothing youre trying seems to work, DDP just keeps coming for you. At some point, your fight instinct turns into your flight instinct and then the African lion jumps on you and rips your throat out.😂. Just a theory, since Chael implies Izzy quit.

Oh, Chael. You just can't seem to leave the psychoanalysis to the professionals. Dricus is not a psychopath or a sociopath. I would rather call him a psychotherapist. He simply shows people their real self. I'm pretty sure he'll make you cry as well when he breaks through your ego. That's what he does. He targets these fake stories these guys tell about themselves. Then he picks them apart psychologically while not getting emotionally involved. Isn't that what fighters are supposed to do? The fact is Adesanya is not an African refugee who had to flee his country. He comes from a well off middleclass family and never had to struggle in his life. Dricus simply pointed out facts about him. He cried because he got exposed. Izzy used his own skin colour to try to garner sympathy and support from people. He didn't think anyone would investigate his claims about his life as a black person. He tried to appropriate the victimhood of actual victims to give himself a fake backstory. He did it to himself.

The funny thing though is while Dricus said he'd beat Sean harder than his dad beat him, it was actually Sean O'malley who brought up Stricklands dad first and said the much more f#cked up line. He said something along the lines of "at least my dad never came home and f#cked me". I still don't know how that has slipped by everyone.
