Hello Soumya, Thanks for providing this information. I want to know that i have both Transcript and Semester DMCs of my bachelor degree so can i do hrd attestation of transcript only?
If you have already got an admission get apostille only on your Bachelors degree else you can get it on transcripts.
I am not quite familiar with the term Semester DMCs so please clarify so that I can understand better
Hi does the sign from the hrd department need to specifically from the state you graduated from or you can also get it done in your home state ??
It has to be from the same state from where the degree was done else it doesn’t count
I have few questions, kindly reply to this comment if possible.
1) I'm applying for job seeker visa, so what and all documents i need to get apostille? Only degree certificate and PCC or any other documents as well.
2) How did you get the apostille for a laminated document? Can we take a color print of degree certificate and get it apostille?
3) For how much period this apostille is valid? For example if it is valid for 6 months .. do u need to get it apostille every six month? What if there is no space left on the back side of document ?
4) I heard portugal embassy is not accepting new job visa application especially for job seeker visa, it this true?

1) You need to get your degree, your pcc apostilled.
For degree you need just a copy of passport but for pcc you need to have an acceptance letter to apply for pcc.
2) you can take the lamination off or get it on a copy. Its your choice.
3) Apostille has to done just once and it can be used forever.
4)Maybe there is not enough slots right now . You have to look into this by yourself as I don’t have much idea about it

I have submitted my application on 8th November. VFS refused to take the original degrees (with Hague Apostille), instead they suggested me to submit Xerox copies and not the originals if I wanted to submit my qualifying degrees.. I then gave him Xerox copies of all my qualifications, including the highest degree.
Of my highest degree, I made a SINGLE PAPER Xerox(front page facing degree, and back page with Hague apostille).
And now since I have already submitted my visa application I am getting anxieties while overthinking that, should I have Xeroxed the Degree and apostille on separate pages or did I do the right thing to make it both in one page as the original?
Is there something to worry about?
Its not a problem.
Also always remember you never have to submit your original documents anywhere.
You have to show the original during your interview.
You only have to submit xerox.
Single paper xerox is perfect. They don’t care how how do it .
Also its better to get it on SINGLE PAPER.

Can I know why your previous applications on esanad showing pending and the latest applied got dispatched? Did there anything went wrong during those previous applications process? My application is also showing pending even after a week of application.

I think they can dispatch abroad with an extra fees.

Di in e sanad website my college is not mentioned yet(NIT Rourkela). And as you mentioned we get apostille by courier and original documents is with us only than how I get stamp on back of degree. I haven't given degree hard copy for apostille ?
Maybe its better you contact your college and they will explain you how the process will work.

No they will verify the document and if everything is in order they will send you the copy of your document with stamp.
When you will be asked to pay there will be a section where they will ask you to put your address.

Actually I have laminated my original degree without apostille. Is it valid or we have to remove it from back and front side is laminated and get apostille stamp. Will it accept one side laminated and other side not?
You have to remove the lamination from back side.
Mostly the agents who you will take help from to get apostille do it for you

But for the universities mostly they ask on all the degree and transcripts so if you can get it done by yourself then go for it else email the universities and confirm

First you need to do state HRD attestation ,you can google where is it located in your state and then get MEA apostille

I got my Bachelor's Degree apostille via an agent. That has 3 stamps : notary, SDM and MEA. Am I missing that HRD stamp ? Is it something that would be rejected in my visa application?

You should get an HRD stamp .

Only on your highest degree
But Portugal is a member of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961. Hence only Appostile is required for legalisation of documents.
@JG-zk4dm Yes but there is a proper process to get an apostille and thats why you need to do the steps mentioned in the video.

For embassy you need to get your latest degree Apostille but for university admissions you need all of them

If you get it done via esand it is less that 200 but when you get it done with the help of agent it goes a minimum of 1500 per document.
Also if you go by yourself to the state hrd office it is very cheap. You just have to go and confirm the price because it depends on the state

UK must have its own requirements. It might be a bit different too so I would recommend you to visit the embassy website and look into the details to confirm

If your university is not mentioned you need to GOOGLE HRD office of the state where you studied that course and go there to get it apostille

You visa will be rejected and if you are talking about the universities they will reject your application

@wittystudy9323 Internal recognition comes under state hrd attestation where they verify your degree with the university
So I am from Pakistan, here the degree is attested by ministry of foreign affairs, i guess this would be the channel of recognition in here. Actually I submitted my application in University of Lisbon for phd Psychology last month without attestation of my degrees, i had no idea that it is compulsory.
